As 2025 comes to an end and a new year begins,I am forever thankful and blessed that God has been so good to me.I want thank all my family, my friends and clients for your love and support through the years,you are truly a blessing to me and I thank you so very much!

Thank you to all my clients, family, and friends who have supported me through the years! It's been quite different these last couple of years with all that is going on in the world today so trying to operate a business has had it's challenging moments that's for sure!I know that I couldn't make it work without patience and understanding from all of you, thank you for that and thank you for your patronage and I hope you have a HAPPY NEW YEAR that is filled with love, peace and prosperity!

I have to say my job touches people in ways I never imagined!Thank for giving me the honor of knowing you all and letting me do your hair! Homosassa Trail is severely flooded at this time. We were able to make it to the salon from Grover Cleveland but we are unsure how long the roads will be clear. Please avoid driving down Homosassa Trail! We will keep everyone updated as the day goes! Thank you for your understanding 💛

Karen's Hair Salon will be officially reopening Tuesday, May 12th!
In the event of our reopening we will be taking strict measures to ensure the safety of our clients, stylists and their families. We will be following the set of protocols listed:

• We require our guests to wear masks during their full service. Not only is it a common courtesy, we will be in close contact with our clients for the duration of their service. The mask ensures our safety. Mask must hook around ears.

• Our waiting area will be closed. Clients will have to wait in their car until it’s time for their appointment.
-No walk in clients. We need as much preparation and cleaning time in between clients as possible therefore scheduled clients only.
- We will not allow any extra bodies unless deemed essential (caregiver, parent, etc)
- We will not be offering beverages and although we usually appreciate it, we discourage hugging or handshakes at this time.

• To abide by social distancing guidelines stylists will work split shifts to minimize the number of bodies in the salon at once.
-To limit the amount of people in the salon at one time, each stylist will only take one client at a time. Other guests will have to wait in their car until their appointment time.

• We will be taking temperatures with a no-touch forehead thermometer before client enters the salon. They’ll also be asked questions like, “Do you have a fever?” and “Have you been around anyone who has traveled recently?”

☆ No Shampoos And No Blow Drying☆
-The only shampoos that will be allowed are color clients who need to be rinsed, and even then a towel will be placed over their face as extra security. (If we don’t have to be leaning over someone, we don’t want to)
-Blow drying will also not be allowed for the foreseeable future to prevent blowing particles into the air. Clients should come in with clean hair and if they’re getting their color done, they should expect to leave with wet hair.

Our stylists have the right to deny services to any guest that does not abide by the protocols or if they feel unsafe to perform services for health reasons. Period.

While this is the plan for now, we can change our mind at any given time if our health is being compromised.Things change and if we feel like we need to shut down, we will. It is our job in this industry to not only keep our guests happy but also healthy, we will continue to keep our community safe however means necessary.

Unfortunately Karen's hair salon has temporarily closed due to the Corona virus.. We are hoping to be back behind the chair April 7th. The health and well being of our clients and stylists is our top priority. Sorry for any inconvenience and remember that you are not alone!
