Hi neighbors! 🤍

I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself a little more personally and share what I’ve been building right here in Homosassa.

Back in May, my professional life took a pretty significant turn. What initially felt like a big change ended up becoming an incredible blessing — and that’s when GloVolution truly came to life.

The vision grew, in part, from my own 50+ pound weight-loss journey and from navigating the changes that come with getting older — hormonal shifts, changing skin, a changing body, and sometimes an entirely different relationship with the woman looking back at you in the mirror.

It made me realize just how many women are navigating their own version of that story.

And I knew I wanted to create something that went deeper than beauty.

Today, GloVolution is located right here in Homosassa and focuses on Advanced Skin Restoration & Paramedical Artistry — helping women restore confidence through personalized skincare, scar and stretch mark revision, permanent makeup, and one of the areas closest to my heart: 3D Hyperrealism Ar**la Restoration for breast cancer survivors and thrivers.

I’ve also been incredibly fortunate to continue something that has been a huge part of my life for many years — giving back.

Through GloVolution, I’m able to support Making Strides Against Breast Cancer and the American Cancer Society, and beginning this weekend, I’ll also be partnering with Ready for Life to provide services to individuals aging out of foster care.

Part of that work will include helping diminish scars and tattoos connected to traumatic chapters of their lives.

There is something incredibly meaningful to me about being able to use the skills I’ve learned to help someone move forward without having to carry every part of their past on their skin.

Different career. Different title. Different kind of work.

But the heart behind it hasn’t changed.

Serve people. Build relationships. Make an impact.

I’m incredibly grateful that this unexpected chapter brought me here and gave me the opportunity to build something meaningful right here in the Homosassa community I now call home.

So if you see GloVolution around town, now you know a little more about the heart behind the name. 🤍

LET’S TALK LIP BLUSH AFTERCARE

What you put on freshly blushed lips matters.

Lip Blushing creates a controlled superficial injury to the skin, so during those first several days my goal is simple:

Protect the barrier. Maintain comfortable hydration. Minimize irritation. And allow the skin to heal with as little interference as possible.

I’m a HUGE LipSmart advocate. If you’ve been in my chair, you already know. 😂 I love how beautifully it keeps the lips conditioned and comfortable while they’re healing.

I also love Glossed by Shay Danielle as a PMU-specific aftercare option, and Hustle Butter is another product commonly used during tattoo healing.

But here's what I really look for in aftercare:

✨ Simple, skin-supportive ingredients
✨ Moisture without irritating actives
✨ Ingredients that help reduce excessive dryness and cracking
✨ A comfortable protective barrier
✨ No unnecessary exfoliation during healing

Because aftercare doesn't need to be complicated.

Now… what DON'T I want on freshly blushed lips?

🚫 Pigmented lip gloss, lipstick or makeup

🚫 Neosporin or other antibiotic ointments unless your medical provider specifically tells you to use one

🚫 Random lip balms, plumpers or medicated products

And what about Vaseline?

Petrolatum itself is an excellent occlusive — meaning it helps reduce moisture loss. I simply prefer an aftercare product selected specifically for my Lip Blushing clients because I know exactly what they're putting on their lips and can keep the healing routine consistent.

The biggest thing I tell my clients: Heal. Use the aftercare I give you. And trust the process.

Keep them clean.
Keep them moisturized.
Let them heal.
Easy peasy. 💋
