Good morning, everyone! Here's a quick update from the Manoa neighborhood.

The streets that experienced flooding yesterday have cleared up, and residents are out doing cleanup work. Manoa Marketplace has also dried out and is fully open for business today as usual. 🙏

Manoa Stream, which turned into a raging torrent yesterday, has returned to its peaceful, gentle flow this morning — a relief to see!

While things are looking better here in Manoa, we know that many other areas are still recovering. Let's keep those communities in our thoughts and prayers, and offer whatever support we can.

Just wanted to share an update from earlier today (around 2 PM on March 23rd) — here’s how Manoa Valley looked behind our spa.
We’re relieved to say the water didn’t reach our side, so thankfully no damage here.

But we know many of you have been worried, and we wanted you to hear from us directly.

Our hearts go out to those affected by the flooding near Longs Drugs at the Manoa Marketplace — the images have been heartbreaking.

We’re hoping the waters recede quickly and that no further damage comes to our beloved community.

To everyone across Hawaiʻi who has been impacted by this storm — we’re thinking of you.
