Being hacked can be a good thing… 😳
Wait, let me explain.
What I mean is that sometimes we have it in our power to hack ourselves. Usually it means a tool we use to help us accomplish what we need… even if we don’t “feel” like it.
Eos contain powerful constituents that trigger certain messages to the brain.
Lavender contains linalyl acetate and linalool. Both contribute to the calming aroma and internally soothes and calms the nervous system*.
Lemon contains limonene which provide an uplifting aroma.
Peppermint contains menthone and menthol which contributes to an energizing aroma.
There are dozens of Eos with constituents that can be used to trigger our brains to be in line with our goals.
Hack yourself now with one of our oils! Check us out at oilloveyoulongtime.com

A little bit extra, just because 😏
While essential oils provide an array of scents, each one also provides its own combination of benefits.
Choosing products that use EOs is choosing more bang for your buck.
You might pick an oil for its scent but you might also be getting:
• Support for body systems and functions
• Aromatherapy benefits (which don’t work
with synthetic oils)
• Skin benefits (anti-aging, clearing,
soothing, calming, brightening, and
more)
• Repellant properties
… and more depending on your oil of choice!

Longer lasting. Better… right?
It depends. What’s the trade off?
In order for scents to last longer, a synthetic additive is needed to help the oils “cling” instead of evaporate.
This means that on top of the fact that synthetic fragrance/parfums are mainly petroleum based (which is a known carcinogen) it’s staying on surfaces, in clothes, on skin, in the body longer.
I can’t imagine anyone wanting to marinade in all those toxins.
Essential oils are the original fragrances and while the scents don’t last as long as synthetics, the trade off is vastly better.

Read the fine print…
In this case, I mean the ingredients list.
You’d be surprised at how many products include “fragrance”/parfum.
While it may be a huge overhaul to go completely synthetic-free (I’m still working on it after several years), there’s always somewhere we can start.
One of the first things I switched over was my daily surface spray. I’ll mix-up the oils I like to use, but any oil in the Beginner’s Trio (Lavender, Lemon, Peppermint) can be used in your own DIY surface spray.
- 16oz glass spray bottle
- Rubbing alcohol (70% or higher)
- 30 -50 drops of essential oil
- 1/2 tsp hydrogen peroxide
> fill bottle most of the way with alcohol
> add the rest of the ingredients
> shake vigorously between every 3-5 sprays (oil and water will continue to keep separating without adding emulsifier)

Did you know…
The term “fragrance” or “parfum” on an ingredients list usually represents a complex mixture of dozens of chemicals. Some 3,000 chemicals are used, most of which are petroleum-based products (around 95%).
Why we should avoid petroleum-based products…
👎 Regular use can clog our pores
* preventing our bodies from sweating, which is a natural way our body gets rid of toxins.
* preventing our bodies from absorbing benefits from food, supplements, and skincare
👎 Disrupts hormones
* preventing different body systems from functioning optimally
In small doses, “fragrance”and parfumes won’t do much damage. However, you be surprised at how many products actually contains these ingredients (meaning you’re actually exposing yourself to this everyday… sometimes all day)

Although I love my coffee…
It’s not always the best option depending on what I’m trying to do. Diffusing Peppermint EO is a non-toxic, non- addictive alternative to your usual “pick me up” options.
When getting ready for my bartending shifts, I’ve tried different options… but coffee is still my main go-to. However, when I need to stay still and focus on some computer work or work on something with more fine details, coffee usually becomes enemy #1.
For times where I need more mental alertness, diffusing Peppermint EO has been a lot of help.
Our Peppermint oil contains:
✨ 10-30% Menthone
Benefits include
- energizing and uplifting aroma
- can help soothe tissues
- may provide antioxidant support*
✨ 20-60% Menthol
Benefits include
- energizing and uplifting aroma
- supports feelings of clear breathing
Why oil love you long time 💋 …
I can diffuse Peppermint eo to energize me, but I get the added benefits of supporting clear breathing and providing small amounts of antioxidant support on a regular basis.

Swallow or spit? 😘
Read the following and decide which option suits you best.
Lemon essential oil contains high amounts of Limonene, which provides cleansing benefits. Since it’s non-toxic, we can use it for oral care.
🤩Why we love Lemon oil long time…
When taken internally, Lemon oil supports a healthy metabolism and many body systems … immune, respiratory, gastrointestinal, and nervous system function*
How many drops to use?
📈Start with lowest amount and gradually work up to a higher amount as you gauge your body’s reaction
😘You may find that you may not need maximum drops for desired affect. Or maybe you do… only you will be able to know so pay attention to your body.
💊 Internal method (I)
👀 Make sure that you are using pure, high-quality essential oils when taking internally. Do NOT take eos internally if the oil is not pure. You don’t know what else you are putting in your body.
👋 Topical method (T)
🤤 Instead of swallowing, you can gargle and spit out. The oil will absorb through the skin in the mouth and can reach the bloodstream within 20 sec so you will still receive small internal benefits from spitting.

Lavender, considered a must-have when beginning to use essential oils, is known to help with many skin concerns.
(T) / (Neat)
👋Topical application (T)
💧Can be applied Neat (N) (without dilution). If you have sensitive skin, you should always dilute eos when first using an oil to figure out your sensitivity levels for each one.
🧖♀️Neat is usually used for “treatments”. For daily/regular use, dilution should be applied (which also stretches out the bottle of each eo. Remember, each drop is very concentrated)
1-3 drops
📈Start with lowest amount and gradually work up to a higher amount as you gauge your body’s reaction
😘You may find that you may not need 3 drops for desired affect. Or maybe you do… only you will be able to know so pay attention to yourself

What does that even mean... non-toxic?
Generally stated, nontoxic things aren't poisonous. It's generally safe to eat or breathe nontoxic substances, and they don't harm the environment.
Not all natural things are nontoxic, so how are Eos nontoxic?
Because Eos can be fully absorbed by the body within minutes and fully exterminated from the body within a few hours, it can not accumulate in the body long enough to result in any toxic effects.
Remember that this only applies to pure, high-quality, therapeutic-grade Eos so make sure to read your labels!!
