Friendly Reminder

I hope everyone had a great summer! It was so great to be back in the salon and catching up with all of you! I just wanted to send a quick reminder that I will be out of town from September 21-September 26. We will be taking Kova on her first plane ride so please wish us luck and any traveling with baby tips you have. I am currently still booking appointments 7 days a week and would love to see you before we leave or to coordinate future appointments to avoid our trip dates.

I swear I have been seeing Halloween and fall decorations already and it serves as a blunt reminder that the holiday season is right around the corner. For those of you who like to get ahead of the chaos of the holidays, I am currently taking appointments through the end of the year. If you would like to check one thing off your list and schedule some future appointments please feel free to reach out at your earliest convenience.

Happy Lunar New Year! 🧧

First and foremost, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for all the well wishes and support during my healing journey. After spending a week and a half in the hospital, I was able to continue my recovery at home.

In my previous email, I mentioned that the doctors left my wound open to prevent any further complications from infection. Due to the size of the wound, they decided it was best to place a wound vac to facilitate and speed up the healing process.

I’m thrilled to share that since the placement of the wound vac four weeks ago, my wound has significantly shrunk. I was advised that it may be at least another month hooked up to the wound vac to avoid any backwards progress.

I hope these updates help with coordinating your appointments with whatever arrangements you have made. Thank you all for your patience and understanding during my absence. I look forward to giving you updates in person soon !

Happy new year !

I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to share a personal update with you all.

On December 22nd, I welcomed a beautiful baby girl into the world, and we were blessed to come home together on Christmas Day. However, following some complications, I had to return to the ER on December 28th, where I underwent surgery due to an infection at my C-section incision.

Currently, I am still in the hospital, and my recovery is expected to take longer than initially anticipated. The doctors have opted to leave the wound open to facilitate healing from the inside out and to prevent any further infections.

During my recovery, if you wish to schedule an appointment with one of the stylists at the shop, please reach out to them directly. If you need assistance in scheduling an appointment, feel free to contact me, and I will connect you with someone who can help.

I will keep you updated on my progress and any changes regarding my return. Thank you for your understanding and support during this time. Your warm wishes and prayers are greatly appreciated!

Thank you all for the warm congratulations and well wishes! We are truly overwhelmed by your love and support, and we are incredibly grateful.

I wanted to remind you that my maternity leave will begin on December 9th. As I progress further along, I have been reducing the number of clients I see each day and to accommodate as many of you as possible, I have opened up my schedule to be available every day leading up to December 9th.

With just 5 weeks left until the 9th, I would love to see and connect with you before then! To help you plan accordingly here are a few things to keep in mind:

Due to popularity, there are currently no weekend appointments available. Additionally, I am already fully booked from Nov 29th through the 8th. However, I would love to see you any other weekday before Nov 29th and would be happy to work with your availability.

If you have an appointment scheduled after December 9th and we have not discussed rescheduling or reassignment with another stylist, please reach out to me as soon as possible. If you prefer to wait until I return or you have another stylist in mind youʻd like to see, please let me know also.
