Platform Honolulu

Platform is not going anywhere! We are taking a break, however, until 2018 to work out the logistics and design a Platform experience that matches what we envision. Until then continue to support our local artists at The ARTS at Marks Garage at First Friday Chinatown and as always get in touch with us if you'd like to get involved in growing the Oahu creative scene!

It’s been a crazy ride and a lot of positive changes happened this month. Tomorrow will be our Platform HNL No. 4, at from 6:00 pm - 9:30 pm, with ending the night with an after party. We have new sponsors, new teammates and an increasing network. We hope to be able to find our own space by the next event and deliver the experience we’ve envisioned from the beginning. Tomorrow we have 10+ artists, completely new mediums and formats, and as promised, personal projectors (already taken). Stay tuned for info.

Please note: Event time will remain unchanged, doors open at 9:00 PM. We'll most likely have gone through all the activities we have in store by 12:00 AM, but the party can go until 2:00 AM or close! Detailed schedule and participants TBA!

We are also working on a solution to showcase people's work that lives strictly on social media without compromising its original format and feel. More on this soon!

We really want to push the idea of giving people the ability to share their work, regardless of format or medium. Now, any creation can be showcased live by using ! Tag your creation and watch it be displayed among a growing collection of your submissions! We have some really innovative ideas for those who's entire work has been published strictly through social media. The suggested donations will go towards making these ideas a reality!
