Had one of the best convo-sessions with this morning. She’s as inspiring and as enlightening as she is real. And the quote is just one of the gems she shared in passing. I think we all could partake in the wisdom.

To all the beautiful women out there: hope it’s not just a day, but a week, a month, a year, a decade, followed by a lifetime - when you step into your power, discover or re-discover the beauty, immense strength, resilience, divine nature, your ability to solve, resolve, create and shine. When you bloom into the flower that you were born to bloom into, and spread the seeds (or bulbs!) of that divine power throughout your community and the world. Women are truly divine beings, all of us. ❤️
Happy International Women’s Day! 🪻🪻🪻

So much heart in one room. Trauma practitioners, social workers and educators who show up — every single day — for people who have been in difficult and very difficult life situations. It made me encouraged. And it made me sad. Because how much trauma there is in the world, and how many lives it touches.
I was honored to offer two experiential workshops at this gathering. For the first time in my practice, I invited adults into something more raw and child-like. We smelled things without knowing what they were. Plunged our hands into a black canvas bag. Listened to the healing sound of 16th century Mongolian Tingshas. And for a moment — just a moment — some people said they felt like children again. Others felt renewed. Others frazzled and more present.
We all carry something. And we are all capable of healing — if we allow ourselves the space to feel, to explore, to be curious again.
To everyone doing this work. You matter.

First session down, many more to go! Stories We Carry—a special experience we all had. Connection, laughter, humility, a real sense of community. I’m in awe.
This is my first time in 14 months when I’m pausing to make my family’s special dumplings. And it’s so freaking soul-nurturing! Omg 🥳
In this Reclaim Marathon conversation, I’m joined by the wonderful Rev. Jenn Latham, a priest at Holy Nativity Church here in Honolulu, whose presence is as grounded as it is honest.
We talk about what it truly means to reclaim who you are
• choosing authenticity, even when it’s uncomfortable
• taking a quiet pause before saying yes
• recognizing yourself as a priority when your energy feels stretched thin
• and allowing joy to anchor you, even in hard seasons
This is a steady, thoughtful conversation. One that invites you to slow down, listen inward, and choose with intention.
