Paul Brown — our founder and hairstylist to stars, royalties, and just as important to Paul, generations of Hawaiians — passed away on Wednesday at age 74. Paul was diagnosed with an aggressive brain cancer in January. Paul was a hair industry pioneer, and a visionary. He will live on in the hearts of the countless many who knew and loved him.

The tradition of Father's Day can actually be traced to the ruins of Babylon. A young boy called Elmesu carved a Father's Day message on a card made out of clay nearly 4,000 years ago. Elmesu wished his father good health and a long life. This long life of tradition has continued the celebration of Father’s Day around the world. Today, the tradition lives on. We set this special day aside, just for our fathers.
