Why do old brows sometimes fade blue-gray? 👀

Over time, the warmer components of permanent brow pigment can fade, making cooler tones more noticeable. Pigment choice, saturation, depth, skin, sun exposure, and time can all influence how old PMU changes in color.

The solution isn’t always adding more brown—that can make the brows appear darker or muddy. Sometimes the unwanted tone needs to be neutralized first.

For this session, I used a warm Golden Corrector—no brown was added. These are the immediate results; we’ll reassess the final color once the brows are fully healed.

Sometimes brows don’t need darker pigment—they need color theory. 🤎
