Sometimes we get asked what makes our candles stand out from others and THIS is one of the answers. The Smells like the Columbia River Gorge collection is thoughtfully designed to replicate all the true fragrance notes that are found here throughout our own home, the Gorge!
We spent several months combining personal experience and research to make sure to replicate the smells that are native to each landmark that we represent in Candle version!
This gives people the opportunity to be reunited with some of their most precious memories, anytime that they choose to light their candle. We also want locals to be able to send these special pieces of home off to their loved ones no matter where they are at in the world, as well as for travelers to be able to have something actually meaningful to share with their friends and family from their experience while they were visiting.
One of our favorite things after working so hard on this collection has been the often repeated experience of people telling each other to close their eyes and imagine they're at the place and smell the candles, which almost always results in them being shocked at how well we have captured each location.
If this collection is something that interests you, it is available on the homepage of our website hoodrivercandleco.com, as well as in store at 1137 Tucker Road in Hood River. They can also be found at the train depot, the Gorge White House, and Draper Girls.
Feel free to message us with any questions as well!
