Summer tips on bikini & brazilian waxing!

Q: What is the best way to prepare before my waxing appointment?
A: For the best possible outcome of your service I recommend exfoliating one to two days before your appointment. This allows the hairs to easily release during epilation because the dead skin cells are no longer blocking the hair follicles.
Q: What can I do beforehand for pain and discomfort?
A: You may take an OTC pain reliever 45 mins to one hour if you feel this will take the edge off. The discomfort is and will be only temporary so this is a personal preference.
Q: What should I expect after my waxing service?
A: Keep the area clean and dry 24-48 hrs post service. I advise avoiding vigorous activity and exercise, hot tubs and swimming pools and last but not least please avoid intimate activities with your partner!
A good rule of thumb is also to follow through with exfoliating the skin regularly beginning around 3 days post wax every few days to help prevent ingrown hairs from forming! They can be super painful and annoying!
