Before you reach for another supplement, try this instead.

Kombucha supports the body by helping restore balance in the gut.

It contains naturally occurring probiotics from fermentation, along with organic acids that support digestion and help your body break down and absorb nutrients more efficiently.

It also provides antioxidants that help your body manage everyday stress and support your natural detox pathway, especially through the liver and gut.

When your gut is supported, your whole body responds.

Simple. Affordable. And you can make it right at home.

Is garlic just for cooking?!?

Garlic is actually one of the simplest ways to support your body daily.

Garlic can:
• Support immune function
• Help regulate blood pressure
• Support heart health
• Act as a natural antimicrobial
• It is anti-inflammatory, anti-viral, and an anti-oxidant that fights free radicals.

Not only that, garlic has been shown in human research to help reduce heavy metal load and support detox pathways.

How do you actually use it?

Chop or crush it → let it sit 10 minutes → then eat it raw.

That step activates the benefits.
It definitely has a spicy bite to it, so have water close!

You can also sauté on medium heat to add to other recipes.

In addition, you can roast in the oven.
⸻

Your body will respond to what you give it consistently.

Garlic is one of the easiest places to start!

Dandelion has been used for generations for a variety of holistic uses. One of the simplest uses is to get rid of warts.

When you snap the stem, it releases a white, milky sap.
That is what is traditionally applied directly to the wart.

Simple use:
• Break a fresh stem
• Dab the sap onto the wart
• Let it dry
• Repeat daily for 2 weeks

It’s gentle, simple, and growing right outside.

⚠️ For educational purposes.
If the skin gets irritated or anything looks unusual, consult your physician.

Sometimes the things we overlook
are the very things God has already provided.

I love, love, love getting these kind of messages! God has provided what our bodies need! 🙌

What is quercetin?
Why are people feeling a difference so quickly?

Quercetin is a natural plant compound (a flavonoid) found in foods like apples, onions, berries, and herbs. It acts as an antioxidant and is known for helping regulate the body’s inflammatory and histamine responses.

Why does this matters?
When histamine and inflammation are elevated, the body can feel:
• congested
• inflamed
• fatigued
• reactive

Quercetin helps stabilize the release of histamine and supports the body’s ability to calm that response.

👀 What many people notice:
• easier breathing
• less sinus pressure
• reduced irritation
• overall feeling of relief

😮‍💨 How to use it:
Quercetin is a supplement, often taken:
• daily during high pollen or stress seasons
• with food for better tolerance
• sometimes paired with vitamin C for added support

*Always pay attention to how your body responds, and be mindful if taking medications. Quercetin can interact with certain drugs.)

🌼 At Mend & Bloom, we’re not chasing symptoms. We are supporting the body’s design.

When the body is given the right tools, it often knows how to rebalance.

Healing doesn’t begin with talking, analyzing, or processing.
It begins with nervous system regulation.

Before the body can release stress, trauma, or stored emotion, it has to feel safe.
This is why breathwork and somatic practices focus on calming the nervous system first.

When the body shifts out of a stress response (fight, flight, or freeze) and into a regulated state (rest and repair), it creates the conditions needed for healing.

This is a foundational principle in nervous system regulation, somatic healing, and breathwork for stress and anxiety.

If you’ve ever felt like talking through something didn’t help,
your body may not have been in a regulated state yet.

Breath is one of the fastest ways to signal safety to the nervous system.

Start there.

Pause.
Slow your exhale.
Let the body lead the process.

📌 Save this for when you feel overwhelmed and come back to your breath first.

Our nervous system is always asking one question:
Am I safe?

Not all stress feels the same because the body continually moves through different states:

Connection (safety and presence)
Activation (fight or flight)
Shutdown (freeze or collapse)

My goal is to help you understand these are nervous system responses, not personality traits.

When we understand this, labels stop defining us. As we we stop labeling ourselves as anxious, overwhelmed, or shut down, we start to recognizie what our bodues are doing to protect us.

This is the foundation of polyvagal theory and nervous system regulation.

Breathwork is one way we begin to gently shift these states. We start to signal safety back to the body.

Pause.
Notice your breath.
What state are you in right now?

You can’t change who you are, but you can change what you have in your head, you can refresh what you’re thinking about, you can put some fresh air in your brain.
-Ernesto Bertarelli

You can’t always change your personality overnight.
But you can change what your brain rehearses.

And that changes everything.

Your nervous system responds to your thoughts.

If you constantly replay stress, fear, or worst-case scenarios, your body prepares for danger.

If you intentionally practice calmer thoughts, slower breathing, and grounded perspective, your body shifts toward regulation.

This isn’t positive thinking.
It’s nervous system science.

Mental patterns become neural pathways.
Repeated thoughts strengthen those pathways.

So ask yourself:

What am I rehearsing daily?
Stress?
Scarcity?
Self-criticism?
Or steadiness?

Sometimes “fresh air for your brain” looks like:
• Stepping outside
• Slowing your breath
• Interrupting catastrophic thinking
• Practicing gratitude
• Replacing one fear-based thought

Small shifts. Repeated often.
That’s how regulation builds.

If this resonates, tell me — what’s one thought you’re choosing to refresh this week?

Be honest…

How many times today have you felt:
• On edge
• Snappy
• Overstimulated
• Tired but wired

That’s not a personality flaw.
That’s a nervous system stuck in protection mode.

Let’s reset it together — 30 seconds.

Inhale 4
Hold 4
Exhale 4
Hold 4

Do it once.
Then notice what shifts.

Your heart rate slows.
Your shoulders drop.
Your mind clears.

This is how you teach your body safety.

For deep down regulation, repeat for 5 minutes.

Save this for later when your brain won’t turn off.

Mend & Bloom
Helping women understand their bodies — not fight them.

For a long time, I was told the problem was food.

Eat less.
Try harder.
Be more disciplined.

But for so many women, that narrative only led to exhaustion, weight gain, hormone chaos, and feeling like something was wrong with us.

The truth is—
the problem was never food.

It was chronic stress.
It was depletion.
It was a nervous system stuck in survival mode.

Mend & Bloom exists to change that conversation.

This is a space for hormone-safe, non-restrictive, bioenergetic healing.
A place to learn how to work with your body—not fight it.
A place where your symptoms are signals, not failures.

If you’re tired of battling your body—
you’re in the right place.

Save this.
Follow along.
We’re rebuilding from the roots.
