Dear New Friends:

My name is Barbara Minisolo and I am the owner of Electrolysis and Skin Care by Barbara (formerly Serious Skin Care by Maryanne) in Hopewell Junction. As you know Maryanne Signorelli and her family recently moved to South Carolina to write a new chapter in their lives. I am delighted to be taking over Maryanne’s business and want to assure you that the high-quality therapeutic and restorative services you have received in the past will continue during this transition.

I began my career as a skin-care professional more than 35 years ago. In fact, it started even earlier, at my Yonkers high school, when a guidance counselor gave me a hall pass to do her make-up! So I guess it was my destiny to become a skin, hair and nail expert. I graduated from the Capri Cosmetology Learning Center New York in Nanuet, NY and the Berkowits School of Electrolysis in Forest Hills, NY.

Soon after, I carved out my own niche specializing in skin care and hair removal. I was fortunate to team up with Dr. Ellen Teplitz, a board certified dermatologist and internist at Southern Westchester Dermatology in Tuckahoe, NY, where I had the opportunity to hone my technical skills during the past 20 years. I also am affiliated with Skin Clinic in Bronxville, NY, and Beauty Scripts/Asira Medical in Yorktown, NY.

I have extensive experience working with a diverse range of clients, both women and men, at different life stages. You can’t stop the clock on aging but you certainly can slow it down. My goal is to help clients enhance their natural looks (and build their self-esteem) using non-invasive procedures rather than change their appearance by going under the scalpel.

My portfolio of advanced beauty services includes: specialized facials and micro current lifting, dermaplaning, microdermabrasion, microneedling with radiofrequency, LED light therapy, nano needling, ultrasonic rejuvenation treatments, facial (glycolic) peels, anti-aging eye treatments, lash tinting, full body waxing, and makeup lessons. I also have extensive experience treating clients with hormonal disorders (polycystic ovaries and endometriosis) and thyroid conditions.

I use only natural and organic skin-care products which provide the purest form of the ingredient on the market (without harsh chemicals). My comprehensive line of products which I developed to promote smoother, clearer and more youthful skin is reasonably priced and available for purchase.

To my dear clients,
I come to you with bittersweet emotions to inform you that I am moving out of New York end of June and Serious Skin Care will continue on with a new owner, Jennifer DiNoia.
Jennifer is the owner of Branches of Beauty Skin Care & Boutique in Scarsdale, NY. She not only offers the same services that you are used to but she also offers medical grade treatments as well. I am leaving you in excellent care as Jen is my esthetician and I have trusted her for years with my skin. She and her staff are very excited to meet and be of service to each and everyone of you.
My last day is June 23rd. The office will then be closed until Jennifer reopens on August 10th. I am currently booking her August appointments while I am still here. She will also be sending out a follow up email with more details.
It has been such a privilege to get to know you and your families over the past 20 years that I have been in service in Hopewell Jct. I consider so many of you my friends and I feel so blessed to have been a part of your lives.
