Less is more when it comes to permanent makeup. 🤎

One thing I always remind my clients: it is completely okay to still use a little brow makeup. Permanent makeup isn’t meant to completely replace your makeup—it’s meant to give you a soft, natural foundation that makes getting ready easier.

This is something we’re putting on your face long-term, so my goal isn’t to keep adding more pigment just because a certain amount of time has passed. My goal is to make sure your brows age beautifully with you.

This client came back a year and a half after her original appointment, and guess what?

She doesn’t need a touch-up. 🙌🏼

Her brows have healed beautifully. They’re still soft and natural, and you can still see those crisp, clean hair strokes.

Adding more pigment right now could actually do more harm than good. Overworking brows that don’t need it can eventually cause those beautiful individual strokes to blend together, leaving the brows looking darker, more solid, or blown out.

Sometimes the best thing I can do as your artist is tell you, “You don’t need anything yet.”

My job isn’t just to give you beautiful brows on the day of your appointment. It’s to take care of your brows for the years that follow and make decisions with their long-term healed results in mind. 🤎

Every “yes” is a chance to grow, gain experience, meet new clients, and build trust. The busy schedule, dream clientele, and flexibility WILL come… but first comes consistency and hustle.

One day you’ll earn the freedom to choose your hours because your books are full. But in the beginning? You build by being available, dependable, and willing to grow.
