*Update on my return to work💙
I planned to take 8 weeks off for maternity leave. I am hoping to start working again the first week of November. I will probably start reaching out to people within the next 2 weeks. This may be a slow going process as I’m still trying to navigate our new family dynamic, breastfeeding, and still healing from surgeries. Thank you for all your well wishes, prayers, gifts and support! Thank you so much to any of you that brought us a meal! It is so appreciated!
If you are looking forward to me reaching out in the next couple weeks to start to schedule you, drop a comment below! ⬇️

If you hadn’t heard, we welcomed our sweet baby Silas last Saturday! Everyone is doing well, and I have started my maternity leave.
I am planning on taking 8 weeks off with my husband and kiddos. I will start messaging clients in about 5 weeks to start scheduling once again. Thank you for your kindness and support during this time of transition. 💙
We are 3 weeks from meeting our last baby! I’ve had a lot of questions so I am going to post one more time about my schedule going forward.
Being that we are only 3 weeks away from my induction, I am quite booked up. I have posted about this previously, but want to say it again- I may not be able to squeeze you in within the time I have left prior to my maternity leave. I apologize for any inconvenience; I have always said I am not a stylist that is easy to book with last minute. I do understand that can cause frustration for some, and I can certainly point you to other stylists in the area that may be taking clients while I’m out on leave. My time off should not impact your ability to keep your hair the way you want! 😊
After I return from maternity leave, my work hours will be different. My older kids will be in school, and need me for transportation. I will not be able to work past school hours anymore. Late nights will be difficult for us going forward. This is a necessary and welcome change. Most people don’t realize I start my work days at 9 AM. I’m looking forward to all the ways our family is growing!
If you’ve made it to the end of this, I appreciate your time. I am so excited to move into this next chapter and complete our family. I thank you for your grace as I take my final maternity leave with my husband. 💙

Started my morning off bright and early with my friend’s hair 🥰 tinted her hair back from highlights to this beautiful chocolate brunette. Look at the shine! ✨
*UPDATES🩵*
I’m just over a decade into doing hair. If you’ve known me since the beginning of my career, you would know it was NEVER my dream to run my own salon. It was never the goal… but then I had babies, and then everything became about my husband and my kids. I’ve worked out of my in-home salon suite for 5 years now- that happened purely to benefit my kids, so I could make my own schedule around my husband’s insane corrections schedule. Here I am 5 years later, and we are preparing to welcome our last baby, while ushering my older two kids into school. With that being said, my career is once again also stretching and changing.
Our little guy is due in September, and I am planning to take a minimum of 6-7 weeks off… no exceptions. After I return to work, I will be working school hours only, and I do not plan to work after 5 PM. I will also not be working weekends; my husband currently gets every other weekend off and I want to spend that time with him. I realize this will limit my schedule, and that it could negatively impact some of my clients. I do apologize for that inconvenience- but it has to be that way for the next couple years at least. I value you all so much, and look forward to continuing to work with you. If my new schedule will not work for you in any way, please reach out to me and I will be happy to refer you to another talented stylist in the area.
Thanks for your continued support and presence as my career once again takes a dive for my beautiful babies. 🩷💙💙 it’s a sacrifice I would make again and again.

Summer hair ☀️
Happy Mother’s Day to all the mama’s out there! Whether you are currently in the trenches of motherhood, or have moved into the Grandma era, or even maybe be mourning a child that should have been earthside- I hope you are treated with kindness and respect today that you deserve!
Motherhood is kingdom work 💜✝️
Just a heads up, my OB has instructed me to rest, and avoid prolonged standing and certain movements that my job requires. This will impact my availability for the next few weeks at least. If I cannot work you in, I would be happy to give you recommendations for other stylists in the area. Thank you for your continued support and grace during this time. Have a great day!
To clear up any confusion- I am not cancelling or rescheduling any appointments unless I have already reached out to you. I just am very much limiting my schedule right now. :)
