A glimpse into the Buckstaff's past.
This beautiful letterhead dates to the 1910s and features an illustration of the Buckstaff Bath House Company as it appeared more than a century ago. Documents like this offer a fascinating look at how the Buckstaff presented itself during the early days of Hot Springs' golden era of bathing.
It's remarkable to think that while the letterhead has aged, the Buckstaff is still welcoming guests and continuing the tradition today.
Have you ever come across old Buckstaff memorabilia or documents? We'd love to see them!

A little piece of Buckstaff history surfaced from the archives.
These 1926 account statements from Steigler Brothers, a Hot Springs stationery and office supply store, show some of the everyday purchases made by the Buckstaff nearly 100 years ago. Paper, playing cards, checkers, pencils, and other supplies offer a fascinating glimpse into the daily operations of the bathhouse during the Roaring Twenties.
It's amazing how a simple receipt can tell a story and connect us to the people who worked here generations ago. Treasures like these remind us that the Buckstaff's history isn't just found in the building itself, but in the small details that have survived through the decades. π°
