Remember: It's just your turn. 💈 I had a client named Jose who I cut hair for almost 20 years. We went from my basement to Champs, to Sharper Image 1, and then Sharper Image 2. One day, Jose stopped coming. My old appointment system was a binder, and clients would book their next appointment after each cut. My book was filled for months, and if I took a vacation, I had to manually cross out dates and notify clients individually. With digital booking now, it's much easier, but back then, I missed notifying Jose twice about my absence. The first time, he showed up and I wasn’t there. I forgot to tell him I was on vacation. The second time, the same thing happened. I erased his name from the book without informing him. After the second missed appointment, Jose decided to go to Jenny instead. Our clients aren’t ours forever; it's just our turn to serve them, whether for two years or twenty. #iamtyrikjackson #clients #barbers
