What do you guys look forward to the most this week?

One of the many reasons I love cutting hair is seeing people feel good about themselves afterwards.

I was very insecure for so long & I sometimes still have my moments. But it’s important to be able to look in the mirror and be happy with what you see.

So not a lot of people knew this. But last year about a month or 2 after we first started I decided to take another job because of how slow it was starting off. And I wasn’t sure if I was gonna be able to handle all the bills and etc. I worked the 4 am shift meaning I was up around 2:30-3 am to give myself enough time to wake up and be at work by 3:45 am. I realize I was lacking faith. I was dependent of myself when I really just had to leave it in Gods hands. So I decided it was time to go all in at the studio & I quit the job I had at the gym. Fast forward 11 months later it was going very well we got to upgrade into a bigger room 💈
Now almost a year 1/2 later, things just keep getting better & I keep getting busier that sometimes it’s overwhelming trying to accommodate everyone 🥲

We have about another year and a half left of this contract & im excited to see what God is going to continue to do.

And we are just 3 years in. I’m excited for what the future holds. But I’m grateful for where I am right now! Just like everyone who starts something, it’s never easy at first. But every sacrifice has been so worth it

For as clumsy as I am, my hand stays pretty steady when I do this & im so glad 😳

I see a lot of new names in my bookings this week which is always exciting!

I’ve really been learning to love meeting people, making connections, and building relationships. I really enjoy my alone time and it’s something I’m excellent at. But we all have gifts and how selfish would it be if I just kept it to myself and didn’t use them?

I love being able to make people laugh & to encourage people!! I think I’m alright at doing so :)

Being a barber brings me many opportunities every single day to do what I love ❤️‍🔥

What people see..

The struggle is real when cutting a child who doesn’t want a haircut😅

You have to learn to work around them! Even if it means getting down on my knees to make it work 🥹

But it’s always a very rewarding feeling when I finish!
