There’s no reason why clients should be trusting anyone who says “please arrive product free” , ladies and gentlemen, you are damaging your hair.

Also, stylist, please STOP 🛑 coating the hair shaft in braid gel. 9/10 your braid gel is alcohol based which cause drying and brittleness, which is then increased when the hair is covered in a synthetic fiber like braiding hair.
People are trusting us to protect their hair, not cause them to take their braids down and lose 3 hand fulls of hair due to unwanted shedding and breakage.

Yes, tucking is a skill that cause wear and tear on the wrist but it is ESSENTIAL to ensuring that your clients hair benefits from braid styles in the long run!

My clients can and do wear their braids up to 2 months because I encourage them to shampoo at week 3 or use a warm towel with a cleansing agent to remove any buildup from the scalp as needed. Apply a braid moisturizer or leave-in conditioner to the braids and scalp and seal with oil.

Let’s stop fighting this battle and win it. They’re trusting us 💛 just because one isn’t licensed does not mean that they can’t obtain the proper knowledge to make sure that they’re able to educate their clients for longevity.

Ponytails are for everyone!

While a lot of people may experience hair loss during or after having a ponytail installed, I assure you, that won’t happen here.

Your hair texture, density, and length, determines the way your ponytail is installed. Not every hair density needs to be gel and freeze molded from the inside out. Some can be done with a simple press and wax mold.

Children also get full service in my chair. From shampooing and conditioning, deep conditions, trims or haircuts, and styling.

Children can be serviced starting at age 3. I give them 3 chances to adapt to their surroundings without feeling overwhelmed and pressured to sit before we make a final call. Parents, it is up to you to keep the consistency in the salon when it comes to young children being serviced.

I do not have “Kid Prices” because truthfully, it is more work, more time, more breaks.

I recommend booking their services on Sunday or Monday because there is no one in the building with us.
