A pink ribbon can represent hope, support and awareness.

But it doesn’t tell us what’s inside the products we’re buying.

We also know that some everyday chemicals can interact with our endocrine system, and researchers are continuing to investigate what those exposures may mean for long-term health.

So what’s the action?

🩷 Read the ingredient list.
🩷 Learn what you’re putting on your skin and hair.
🩷 Don’t assume “natural” automatically means safe—or that a pink ribbon means healthy.
🩷 Reduce unnecessary exposures where you reasonably can.
🩷 Don’t panic about every ingredient either. Look at the evidence.

Because this isn’t about fear.

It’s about informed choices.
🎀 Awareness is knowing.
Action is choosing.

There’s a different kind of strength in allowing yourself to be seen. 🤍

Join Janet Sisler The Change Whisperer, for our next Tapping Tuesday: VULNERABILITY — an intentional evening designed to explore what happens when we stop protecting, performing, and pretending we have it all together.

✨ You don’t have to share everything.
✨ You don’t have to have the answers.
✨ You simply have to give yourself permission to be human.

Because vulnerability isn’t weakness. It can be a pathway to connection, self-awareness, and emotional resilience.

Come as you are. Leave with a little more room to breathe, feel, and be fully yourself.

A cancer diagnosis, and the uncertainty that can come with screening, treatment and recovery, can carry a tremendous emotional load.

Researchers are studying whether Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) may help.

A 2025 systematic review and meta-analysis looked at 10 randomized controlled trials involving 774 people with cancer. Researchers found significant reductions in anxiety and depression, along with improvements in sleep quality.

Even more specifically, a study of women who had undergone breast-cancer surgery found improvements in sleep quality and happiness among participants who received EFT compared with controls.

EFT isn’t a treatment for cancer.

But supporting the person living through cancer matters, too.

🩷 Take a breath.
🩷 Notice what you’re feeling.
🩷 Give yourself permission to process it.
🩷 Ask for support.

Awareness tells us what we’re facing.
Action asks, “What can I do to support myself today?

🎀 Breast cancer awareness is more than a ribbon. It’s an opportunity to talk about the whole person.

Reiki is not a cancer treatment, and it should never replace medical care. But researchers have been studying Reiki as a complementary approach for people living with cancer.

A 2026 systematic review specifically examining Reiki in breast cancer patients included four studies involving 339 participants. The studies suggested possible improvements in fatigue, comfort, well-being, mood and quality of life. The authors also emphasized that the number of studies is still small and that larger, better-designed trials are needed.

https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/42263755/

Other systematic reviews of Reiki in people with cancer have reported potential benefits for fatigue, pain, stress and quality of life, although the evidence remains limited and inconsistent.

That’s an important distinction!
We’re NOT talking about treating cancer.
We’re talking about SUPPORTING the person experiencing it.

At LyfStyle, that’s where our approach to wellness comes in, creating space for relaxation, restoration and whole-person support alongside appropriate medical care. We’re honored to have professionals such as Megan with Megan Taylor offering sessions in our studio

🎀 Awareness tells us what to pay attention to.

👉ACTION asks how we can support ourselves through the journey.

Always discuss complementary therapies with your oncology team, particularly during active treatment.

🎀 Awareness is important. But what if awareness also led to action?

Breast cancer is complex, and there is no single cause or guaranteed way to prevent it. But research continues to show that our environment and the chemicals we’re exposed to can play a role in breast cancer risk.

That means we can start paying attention to what we put on our bodies, in our bodies, and around our bodies.

🩷 Read the ingredient labels.
🩷 Reduce unnecessary exposure to potential endocrine-disrupting chemicals.
🩷 Be mindful of plastics, fragrances, personal-care products and household chemicals.
🩷 Choose simpler, more transparent ingredients when you can.
🩷 And don’t forget the proven lifestyle factors—physical activity, maintaining a healthy weight and limiting alcohol can also matter.

We don’t have to live in fear of everything around us. We can simply become more informed consumers and make better choices where we have control.

🎀 Awareness is the beginning. ACTION is what we do with it.

This isn’t about claiming that eliminating one ingredient prevents cancer. It’s about reducing unnecessary exposure while continuing to learn what the science is telling us.

After kids, life, and everything that comes with putting yourself last, this client came to us frustrated with her body and ready for a jumpstart.

She started making small changes. She stayed committed to her treatments. She worked on building better habits. And little by little, she started seeing her body respond.

✨ 3+ inches lost in total circumference
✨ 1½-inch lift in her lower belly area
✨ 11 inches of total measurable change 🤯

But honestly… the numbers weren’t the part that got us.

When she saw her results, all she could say was “Wow, I’m finally feeling like my old self again!!”

Because sometimes that “wow” isn’t just about inches.

It’s about finally recognizing yourself again, feeling proud instead of frustrated when you look in the mirror, realizing that maybe your body isn’t broken you just needed the right support, and a reason to believe in yourself again.

Her results are proof that small changes and consistency can create BIG changes.

And if you’ve been waiting for your own “wow” moment… maybe this is your sign. ❤️

We had a FABULOUS time at Airlines Giddy Up Safety Expo.

I absolutely loved bringing our wellness experience to these hardworking men and women offering detox-inspired treatments, herbal teas, and, most importantly, a moment to pause, recharge, and give back to themselves. 💚

So often, we’re so busy taking care of everything and everyone else that we forget to take care of ourselves.

It was an honor to be there, connect with the United team, and remind them that they deserve a little care, too. ✨

Thank you, United Airlines, for having us! 💚
