My father dedicated his life to serving others.

After spending more than 16 years in Germany, he made the decision to return home to Togo to serve his country and his community. As the King of [VOGAN HANGOUMÉ] Togo🇹🇬
, he worked tirelessly to improve the lives of the people around him.

With the support of generous partners, he helped build schools, campaigned for scholarships for young girls in his village, made clean water more accessible, and built a dispensary so his community could receive proper healthcare.

In 2010, everything changed when he suffered a stroke. The strong man I had always known faced a long and difficult battle. My mother and I stood by his side through years of pain, hope, and perseverance.

Two days ago, my father passed away.

As his only child living thousands of miles away from my family, my greatest wish is to return home to say goodbye and give him the farewell he deserves.
