Well, I can officially add **ZOOKEEPER** to my résumé! 🤣🐾

While my friend is enjoying vacation, I've been stopping by to take care of her little zoo! 🐠🐹🐭🐦🐶❤️

Fishes, hamsters, a mouse, quails, and a dog… all with different menus, different personalities, and absolutely NO intention of helping with the chores! 😂

I find myself talking to all of them like they understand me. The dog probably does but all he wants is attention, the mouse looks suspicious, and the fish just stare at me like I'm the hired help and silently judge my performance!🤣

And guess what? **Nobody's paying me!** Well, almost nobody… the quail surprise me with fresh eggs now and then! 🥚😂 At least SOMEONE appreciates my service!

I even sat inside one of the cages to see the world from their perspective. Let me tell you, life looks a little different from behind bars! 🤣 Now who's watching whom?

I'm actually having fun with this furry, feathered, and finned bunch! ❤️

🍔🍟 **A little Chicago history with a side of Texas-sized fries!** 🤠😂

Finally checked out Portillo’s in Tomball! They've been here since July 2025, so apparently it only took us a little over a year to make it there. Better late than never! 😅

A little fun history: Portillo’s started back in 1963 in Illinois as a tiny hot dog stand called *The Dog House*. Over 60 years later, it's made its way to our little corner of Texas!

I actually liked the atmosphere - that old-fashioned American diner feel, fun décor, and a bit of nostalgia. Almost like stepping into another decade. 🇺🇸

Now, the funny part… we went to a place famous for its Chicago-style hot dogs and Italian beef sandwiches and ordered absolutely NONE of those! 🤣

Instead, we went with spicy chicken, a Rodeo Burger, chicken strips, and enough fries to make potatoes question their life choices! 🍟😂

Nothing extraordinary, just one of those simple family outings that I enjoy. A new place checked off the list, everyone fed, and one less meal for me to cook. That's a win in my book! ❤️

“Limited supply” Sofia: Self-Control Champion of the September Month 🏆

I learned my daughter has excellent self-control. I even have an official certificate as proof. 🏆

Because based on our adter-school car rides, I would have never discovered this information independently. 😂

Apparently she uses her entire daily "limited" supply at school.

Still trying to figure out where she drops it between the classroom and the parking lot. 🤦‍♀️

Never disappointing food, useful conversations… and margaritas. Because apparently personal growth pairs very well with tequila. 😂🍹

We can sit down for lunch and somehow hours disappear. Catching up, exchanging ideas, learning from each other, solving half the world’s problems… and probably creating a few new ones along the way. 😅

Three totally different cultures. Three completely different backgrounds. So many different experiences - and somehow, SO much in common.

I love conversations like these. The kind where you laugh a lot, learn something new, share perspectives you wouldn’t have thought of yourself, and suddenly realize you’ve been talking for hours.

And the margaritas? Very supportive of the entire educational process. 😂🍹

Time really does fly when you’re with people you can talk to about absolutely everything.

You went for an eye exam and the eye chart started judging your life choices. 😂👀

Excuse me… WHAT?! 😂

I came here to check my eyesight, not get personally attacked by an eye chart Signature Eyecare

But on a serious note - I’ve been coming to this office for 10 years, and I have never once been disappointed.

I’ve worn glasses since elementary school, so believe me… I’ve seen A LOT of eye doctors over the years.

So when I say Dr. Fisher is the best - I mean it (!)

I’ve never met anyone so detail-oriented, attentive, and thorough. She takes care of my eyes AND somehow makes sure my glasses actually look good on me. 👓✨

And today I noticed she upgraded some of the equipment she uses to check your eyes.
I’m not going to tell you what those machines do…
Because I was told that if I gave birth to two kids, I can handle it. 😂😂

Apparently this was an eye exam AND a test of my tolerance. ... still wouldn’t go anywhere else.

My eyesight may be changing… but at least I know who I trust with it. 😉

Went to Meet the Teacher today. 🍎✏️

And suddenly… this whole “starting Kindergarten” thing got VERY real. 🥹

She’s excited.
I’m excited.
My heart is proud.
My brain is making lists.
And emotionally? I’d like to speak to whoever approved children growing up this fast... NOW! 😂😭

Wasn’t she just a baby like… last Tuesday?!

📚❤️ Today is National Book Lovers Day - I can’t think of a better way to celebrate than watching the kiddos enjoy books right in the middle of the park. 🌳📖

Books really are a magical world. You open the cover, and suddenly there’s an entire adventure waiting for you. The more you read, the more it captures you.

I’ve always loved books. And I still LOVE the smell of a new book. 😍📖 Yes, I smell books. No, I’m not planning to stop. 😂

Give me a chance to walk into a library or bookstore, and I can disappear for hours. “I’m just going to look for a minute” is probably one of the biggest lies I tell myself. 😅

There’s something special about being surrounded by hundreds of stories, ideas, mysteries, and entire worlds just waiting to be opened.

Some people lose track of time scrolling through their phones.

Me? Put me between some bookshelves & consider me missing. 📚😂❤️

And if you see me smelling a brand-new book… mind your business. It’s part of the experience. 🤣

And now, seeing my kiddos enjoying books on their own makes my book-loving heart especially happy. ❤️ Fresh air, a good book, and a little imagination - sometimes that’s all you need for an adventure.

We celebrated a "small" Pre-K graduation... but it feels like one of the biggest milestones yet.

As a mom & a Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultant, I get to celebrate growth in many forms - whether it's raising a confident little girl or encouraging women to believe in themselves and chase their dreams.

A year ago, we started our homeschool journey with a dream. Today, that little girl has completed Pre-K in both English and Russian and is already halfway through Kindergarten! 📚🌎

This is your reminder that homeschool Pre-K is real, it works, and it can be an incredible foundation when it's built with love, patience, and consistency.

So proud of you, my sweet Sofia. Keep shining, keep learning, and never lose your curiosity. ❤️

No matter where life takes me, I never miss a sunrise.

Not because I'm on vacation.
Because it's a reminder.

Funny how we spend months waiting for a vacation... only to keep checking emails, scrolling through our phones, and thinking about what's waiting back home.

We're finally given the one thing we've been asking for—time.
Yet somehow, we're still somewhere else.

This morning, there was nothing but the ocean, a gentle breeze, and the soothing sound of the waves.

And for the first time in a while... I could actually hear my own thoughts.

Maybe that's the real luxury.
Not the destination.
Not the hotel.
Not the view.

Being fully present in a moment you'll never get back.
..And then I had to sprint back. 🏃‍♀️😂

My phone was buzzing:
"Momma, where are you? The kids are hungry!" 🫶

Reality called... and honestly, I wouldn't have it any other way.

Tell me... what's the first thing that pulls you back to reality on vacation?

They call it crazy until it starts working.

Every empire ever built looked insane in the beginning.
Every visionary was mocked before they were admired.
Every genius looked unrealistic before they became unforgettable.

Because climbing higher has never belonged to “normal” people. 💋

It belongs to the obsessed ones.
The bold ones.
The women willing to risk being misunderstood in order to build something extraordinary.

That’s the thing about ambition - it’s loud, uncomfortable, and impossible to ignore (!)
It makes people nervous because most never even attempt the climb.

Building in Mary Kay takes a certain kind of woman.
The kind willing to hear “no” a hundred times & still show up polished, smiling, & hungry for more.
The kind brave enough to build an empire in pink while everyone else plays safe on the ground.

And honestly?
From the outside, it probably looks a little unhinged.

But so did every legendary dream before the world called it iconic. 🩷

Nobody remembers the people who stayed comfortable. They remember the ones crazy enough to climb where nobody else dared to go (!)

So here’s the real question:

Would you rather spend your life staying safe…
or become the woman people talk about because you were fearless enough to build something unforgettable? 💄
