Effective solutions for scalp disorders and hair loss.

Y'all know this is a joke... mostly. πŸ˜‚

But here's the part that's actually true: stress doesn't care who's causing it.

A man breaks a woman's heart, she's stressed. Chronic stress can trigger increased shedding, inflammation, and make existing hair loss worse.

The man who caused the stress? He might already be dealing with his own stress, genetics, hormones, or male pattern hair loss. And guess what? Stress can make his hair situation worse too.

So now everybody's losing hair and nobody's winning. 😭

Moral of the story: communicate better, heal properly, drink your water, mind your business, and stop traumatizing people.

And if your karma has been kicking your edges, corners, beard line, or hairline... it might be time for a professional opinion.

If you've made somebody cry and your hairline started moving backward... I'm not saying they're related. I'm just saying book the consultation.πŸ˜‚πŸ€£

I look at scalps all day. Here's what I see...

Far too many people believe that every case of scarring hair loss is CCCA.

It's not.

CCCA is just one type of scarring alopecia. There are more than a dozen recognized types of scarring alopecia, and several of them can look very similar.

That's why I cringe when people see hair loss online and immediately label it CCCA.

Not every scarred scalp is CCCA.
Not every thinning crown is CCCA.
Not every patch of permanent hair loss is CCCA.

Diagnosis matter because the wrong label can send people down the wrong path.

Hair loss is rarely as simple as looking at the pattern. That's just part of the story. A closer look under the scope tells far more than you think.

Have you ever been told your hair loss was one thing, only to later learn it wasn't?

When you see a widening part, thinning crown, or a spot that's getting bigger every month, it's easy to convince yourself that it's over.

A lot of women quietly suffer with hair loss because they're afraid of what they might hear. So they keep changing hairstyles, switching products, avoiding mirrors, and hoping it somehow fixes itself.

But here's the thing...

Not every hair loss pattern that looks severe is permanent.

This client had a pattern that many people would automatically assume was CCCA or irreversible hair loss. The good news? She still had viable follicles, which means there was an opportunity to work toward recovery.

Sometimes the news is better than you think.
Sometimes the follicles are still there.
Sometimes there's still time.

And sometimes, all you need is someone to take a closer look and help you restore your hair naturally.

If you've been staring at the same area of your scalp wondering whether it's too late, this is your sign to stop wondering and get answers.

Comment GROWTH if you're ready to find out whether your follicles are still active, or book your Hair & Scalp Evaluation at thealopeciadoctor.com

πŸ’• And be honest... have you ever convinced yourself your hair loss was permanent before actually getting it evaluated?

Scalp disorders like discoid lupus, folliculitis decalvans, and other forms of scarring alopecia can permanently destroy hair follicles in men.

Once a follicle is replaced by scar tissue, regrowth is no longer possible and hair replacement becomes the next best option.

Surprise.. surprise!

That bald spot had her convinced her hair was gone forever.

Turns out, she was dealing with alopecia areata, an autoimmune condition that can cause your body to attack healthy hair follicles.

This is why I always say: stop guessing.

Every bald patch isn't permanent. Every hair loss condition isn't the same.

The only way to know if your follicles are still active is to get a professional hair and scalp evaluation.

Hair loss is complicated. That means there's more than one way to get the best results and many times that includes your trichologist knowing when something is outside their scope of practice.

Internal support is needed and in most cases it requires seeing other professionals to help you on that journey. Alopecia Areata, androgenetic alopecia and trichotillomania are a few that will need a qualified physician to address your underlying condition.

A trichologist is NOT qualified to treat or diagnose the cause of your hair loss. Our role is to understand the potential underlying causes of your hair loss once the type is properly identified.

The progress of your hair growth depends on choosing someone who knows what they're able to help you with, while also being responsible enough to know who to refer you to.

Choose wisely!

If you're still using a derma roller for hair growth, it might be time to throw it out. πŸ‘€

Here's why:

❌ The needles often don't pe*****te as effectively as a Dermastamp
❌ Hair can get caught and pulled during use
❌ Rolling can create unnecessary dragging across the scalp
❌ It's harder to target specific areas of thinning

A Dermastamp allows you to:

βœ”οΈ Control needle depth more accurately
βœ”οΈ Target thinning areas with precision
βœ”οΈ Create cleaner microchannels without dragging across the scalp
βœ”οΈ Pair more effectively with topical hair growth solutions

Microneedling is designed to stimulate the folliclesβ€”not create unnecessary trauma.

That's why every Hair Loss Recovery Kit comes with a Dermastamp, and it's also available with the Regrowth Bundle for those looking to maximize their results at home.

This is my secret weapon for accelerated hair restoration results. πŸ”₯

Cold Plasma Therapy + Microneedling + Growth Factors = the ultimate follicle support system.

If you're serious about improving your hair, stop guessing and start with a hair and scalp evaluation.

I watched this grow on her scalp for weeks. πŸ‘€
Flat mole β†’ bigger β†’ scaly β†’ raised. We thought it was caused by scalp sensitivity. It wasn't.

It's a seborrheic keratosis a benign, wart-like growth. It's totally harmless, it sometimes just comes with age.

This is why a my role as a trichologist matters: I can tell you what it actually is AND who to see next (she'll likely get it removed via electrocautery by a derm).
Knowing the difference is everything.
