With a heavy heart: A farewell and new beginnings.

I sit down to write this message with a heart overflowing with gratitude and love. I want to thank you not only as a client but as a cherished friend for your unwavering support of my small business. I truly hold that friendship in the highest regard and I cherish the bonds that I’ve been lucky enough to establish these past 10 years. 

Regrettably, my business was never able to recover after the challenges we’ve all struggled with since March 2020.
After a decade of incredible memories, personal trials, and growth, I’ve made the difficult choice to close Rebecca Barton Beauty. This decision was made with a very heavy heart, as is a direct result of the overwhelming and unforeseen hardships brought on by the relentless pandemic. 

For the time being I have blocked my schedule out until 10/31 to allow myself time to process and heal while I navigate this new reality. 
If you are in need of an appointment, please text or message me and I will see if I can accommodate you as I will be working Wednesdays in October. 

December 16th will be my last day of service at The Warehouse but amidst there challenges, I’ll still be there for you. I’ll be right at your doorstep, ready to bring my little cabinet of curiosities to the comfort of your home. I’ll be a mobile concierge proprietor of beauty, just a text away. 

Again I want to thank you from the depths of my little black heart for being not just patrons, but true friends, and for the incredible support you’ve shown me. I wish circumstances were different, but we must deal with the cards were given.

At my studio for the first time in what feels like weeks.

(really like 10 days)

It’s a weird feeling, I just moved all of these things in here and now I’m boxing up product to take home to sell.

Things look bleak for small business owners right now, I have no idea when I’ll be able to come back to work, no income and no unemployment. Of they joys of working for yourself. :)

If you’d like to help small business owners like myself here are some things you can do.
