‼️ATTENTION ALL CLIENTS‼️ Glo Salon goes hand in hand with school cancelations. When Houston School is closed for bad weather so are we. Many of you will understand this, some of you are die hards so to speak or live closely to the salon and I apologize for any frustration. However stay home, throw on a hat for a few days or put your hair up. Enjoy the time with your kids while there home, if they are grown and gone, then simply enjoy getting things done at your own home while taking in the beautiful masterpiece that god has given us outdoors thru your own windows. Quite frankly your hair appointment is not worth the risk that it can involve. Wether falling on your way in, the bitter cold or even worse an auto accident is not worth your hair looking nice today when more cases than any you probably won’t be seeing many people today anyways due to the weather. When it’s better conditions I will be all about getting you all in for your scheduled appointments! Then you can rock your new style safely to whoever and wherever you would like to! We came across a statement awhile ago that hit home regarding the issue of why schools cancel due to winter weather.

An unidentified School Superintendent once said “ I would rather go to school in June than a funeral in February”. That right there says it all.

Remember, just because you as an adult think the roads are safe enough to make it to work, doesn’t mean a 30,000 pound, 30 foot long school bus is able to just as easy. Or the 16 year old that has only been driving for a couple of months. A decision to cancel school is not taken lightly by any means. The school administration fully understands the hardship it puts on you as parents. They are not only looking out for the safety of the students, but for faculty members and other motorists on the road.

Remember the statement above next time you get upset because school is canceled for a “little bit” of snow on the road.

As for us, responding to a serious accident involving an adult is hard enough. Don’t think for a second that it doesn’t affect us. It bothers us for days, even months. But responding to an accident involving a child is 10 times harder. It bothers us for years. Sometimes a lifetime.

1 year unlimited Tanning $175 ($14.58 per month)
1 month unlimited $45
3 months unlimited $75

We encourage you to take advantage of our unlimited tanning deals. With the unlimited access you gain a key code especially for you so that your able to tan anytime of the day 24 hours/ 7 days a week wether the salon is open or not. This ensures that you never have to miss out on achieving your most beautiful tan. We also offer single session packages. These do not include the 24 hour access.
