💚 My sister is the founder of Jaxon's Journey Bags. My nephew Jaxon is the toughest kid I know! 🫶🏻

✨ ️As many of you know, Jaxon's Journey Bags was founded after my son had a traumatic accident at our home in Bridge City in August 2018 and was then life flighted to Texas Children's Hospital, where he would spend 17 days in the hospital over that next month. Through this tragedy God led me to start this non-profit to help other families who are going through similar situations as we did.

At the same time, many states away, there was a sweet little girl, who was Jaxon's age, fighting for her life. But after a brave fight, Caroline passed away from a heart disease called Pulmonary Vein Stenosis.

Months later, Caroline's mom (Holly Parrish) and I would join the same small group, It's Not Suppose to be This Way by Lysa Turkeurst. Although, our stories are very different- we were both mom's living through horrible situations and trying to overcome grief and anger.

Fast forward to today, I felt God clearly speaking to me. I knew immediately, I needed to honor Caroline's memory and her sweet family.

With all that being said, Holly & I are teaming up to create shirts that will honor both our kids. The shirts will be donated to the trauma unit at Texas Children's. These shirts will be be given to children that have lost their clothing due to their accident. They will get to use these shirts to celebrate any victory (tiny or big), just as Caroline did when she was in the hospital.

Our goal is to provide 50 shirts to Texas Children's Hospital. If you are able to donate to this cause it would be greatly appreciated. Jaxon's Journey Bags will match the total donation. 👕❤️
