So many people in life have goals and dreams but have lost the ability to imsgine. Your imagination is the launchpad tonyour dreams but before they become reality...faith snd work must be needed ingredients to go into b the mix.

Once that happens, determination and grit keep you buckled in for the ride. Passion makes the ride less bumpy and helps cancel out the drudgery.

As long as you remember that there are no shortcuts, and know that nothing you experience in this life is wasted. All things work for good for those living in their purpose and in alignment with their divine path .

I am filled with gratitude for how far i have come and the blessings still unfolding.

The time i have on my schedule is the time i got available. I promise yall i aint got no extra time hiding in the back. When i was a much younger stylist, i would sometimes work 15 to 18 hr days. One time i worked 21 hrs straight because a client flew in to get her hair done and was flying out the next morning.

I think that was my longest appointment. There is a saying that goes...do what you love and you will never work a day in your life. Well im here to tell you, that's simply not true. You will still work but the joy and passion of doing what you love offsets the drudgery.

Since my accident and after Covid. I am simply not the same person, my body also demands more rest to allow time to repair itself. When your stylist does not have availability on the booking calendar, most times...it does not mean he/ she will have more by calling.

At times there is a cancellation, and in those instances singning up on the waitlist will alert you as soon as something is available. Many Stylists have died or fallen ill behind the chair due to ill health and terrible work life balance.

I just want to give a huge shoutout to my amazing clients who understand that a good life is impossible without balance. I am truly grateful for you. Wishing yall a wonderful weekend.

Its whats on the inside that counts. Healthy hair starts with a healthy body. A lot of once we start seeing symptoms of disease , its the result of years or even months of bodily abuse. We eat on the go, we eat inflammatory foods. Many of which are ultra processed and which do not feed our beneficial bacteria, in turn causing runaway inflammation that manifests in internal disease.

This is going to p**s some people off but...If you waste my time, you will waste your money. When you find a stylist that operates with a high degree of integrity, and fairness they expect the same from their clients as well.

I hear a lot of talk about the good old days and how these new stylists are cut of a different cloth. The truth is, many old school stylists lacked good boundries and suffered in dereriorated health and injuries because if that. Many who started in the business found that they could not retire and died behind the chair, or working until their bodies gave out. The new stylists witnessed that , learned from their mistakes and set proper boundries that allow them to have good work life balance.

There is a concept called reciprocity that governs every successful long lasting relationship. The client stylist relationship is no different. My best, clients show love and appreciation for my service by not only paying for the service but also by being considerate of my time and of course i most definately do the same. I love and appreciate my amazing clients so much.

If you are a stylist that does not respect your clients time, please do not complain when they reciprocate. Be the example you wish to see or find the people in alignment with what feels natural for you. Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk.
