The Keratin Salon

After 12 years in business, we had to shut our doors unexpectedly. As many know my husband and I built this salon from the ground up. We just moved from Boston and as we did the build out I was pregnant. I had 3 babies in that salon whilst working and many of you might remember that. So many memories and so many blessings. Patty was a huge blessing for us and is family.
We decided after the covid shutdown, we were going to take a chance to live abroad. This shut down put us back in major debt, which we had worked hard to get out of and we had been debt free. It was crushing to our spirit, and we felt it time to explore a different chapter for our family.
We currently have been living abroad for 2 years now. Without us, the salon was just barely making ends meet. I wanted to keep it going for as long as possible for the sake of my employees. Unfortunately, the time where we could no longer go on financially reached us sooner than expected.
It's hard to let go and I'm still in disbelief.
I want to thank all of our loyal clients throughout the years. You all are a special part of our lives we won't ever forget.
Most of all I want to thank my stylists especially Patty. We couldn't have done it without you and you are one of a kind. We love you so much!
Currently, we have all of our salon in a 200sf storage and we are needing to sell it all. I will make a separate post about that but it was time to finally make the official announcement, that The Keratin Salon is closed permanently. 💔
Looking forward, Personally, I feel a strong calling for humanitarian work as I've experienced the earthquakes and witnessed so many in need. I will most probably continue on this path as I feel a calling to help those that have been traumatized, displaced, forgotten, oppressed, and neglected. I feel a strong desire to call out to mankind to awaken their hearts and have compassion and kindness for eachother. Because only when we live with these inherent values can we reach our highest potential as a society. So you will still be hearing more from me. 😂😘✌️

Hello to all, I am reaching out to my American network of friends and contacts because I truly believe and have faith in the generosity of my fellow Americans and I've witnessed this multiple times. As some of you may know, my family and I have been living in Antalya Turkey for about 2 years already. I can't believe how fast these years have gone. We still own the salon and we couldn't do it without the help of an excellent team.
This recent earthquake and the devestating effects have really motivated us to do something about it. To help those in need. What breaks my heart the most is the orphans. I want to make it my mission to make sure that any charity or donations from good people who want to help actually gets to the Victims. Sooo many fake charities and the corporate organizations that take too much for their operating costs and it is questionable if the donation is every truly realized by the victims.
