I have some new followers, so I want to introduce myself to you and reintroduce myself to others.

I’m Nyoka, an iced coffee lovin’, all-black-wearin’ wife, bonus mom, dog mom, student, and traveling wedding hairstylist in Houston who continually strives to be a better person with God as my guide.

I help micro wedding, elopement, and destination brides with silk-pressed styles such as low buns, mohawks, and soft curls achieve their look without wigs or sew-ins.

As I continue my beauty journey, I’m sad to say that I will no longer offer makeup services unless you’re an elopement or destination bride. I know, I know…after providing makeup services for almost two decades, this may come as a shocker. But it’s necessary. Hair was and still is my first love, so I’ll continue my journey with that.
