Patient 1 — She didn’t follow the pre-treatment instructions, meaning proceeding with her massage would have put her at unnecessary risk and made her unsuitable on the day.
Patient 2 — During her consultation, she showed me unrealistic wish pictures that simply could not be achieved with post-op massage. After a deeper conversation, I knew I wouldn’t be able to meet her expectations, and we agreed I was not the right therapist for her.
Patient 3 — I identified signs that required further medical evaluation. Treatment was not provided, and she was advised to obtain clearance from her surgeon.
As much as I love helping women feel confident, I will never compromise my values, professional judgement, or my patients safety.
