I want to take this new year as an opportunity to reintroduce myself - the face behind the hair page! Im jen, a hairstylist for over 20 years, in three different countries (soooo transatlantic 😉) Born and raised in England, I started my career in Manchester then moved to Aberdeen, Scotland where i stayed for 10 years before finally emigrating to Houston, Texas in 2014! Im married to a SUPER supportive husband who is my biggest cheerleader, and I’m a dog mama to Morrissey, a very spoiled 6 year old Chihuahua who is less supportive, but as i tell him daily, i HAVE to leave to go to work everyday to continue to give him the lifestyle he has grown accustomed to 🤣🤣 My favorite color is green My favorite food is Indian I adore coffee and champagne, but like all self respecting Brits, i am partial to a spot of gin 🤭 I consider myself a well rounded hairstylist however i am most passionate about blonding and extensions (as im sure my page reflects 💁🏼‍♀️) I am a big advocate of education in the industry, and you will often find me traveling far and wide to take classes! Last year i was fortunate enough to be able to travel to Chicago, Italy, and New York to name but a few places in order to bring back new skills and techniques! I also have a background in editorial styling, and i have had my work Internationally published in five countries including the United state’s, Germany and the United Kingdom!!
