This is me and Suzanne. She’s been a friend and a client since January 15, 1998. She’s had a standing appointment with me for 10:30 every Tuesday and Friday for a shampoo and blow dry and every 4 weeks for a color and cut. She told me Tuesday she is moving to Virginia to be close to her daughter. Today was her last appointment with me. We tried to act like everything was normal today, she asked me when is my next trip, told me about the raccoons in her cat food bowl, she talked about the change she found on her walk this morning….
I’ve started almost every single work week for 26 years with Suzanne. I will really miss her and I wish her well on her new adventure. 🥺
