I have used Styleseat for ten years and Over the ten year time frame, it has been able to understand my busy days , weeks , months and individual time slots. Based off the annual trends and booking habits of the clients it determines when I will have busy and slow time slots for every hour, day, week, and month. Please NOTE, these trends change every hour, day, week, month based off the prior sales trends and booking habits of the clients booking with me. Styleseats AI job is a paid subscribition that monitors and predicts my clients booking behaviors to assist me in filling the times slots that would normally not get booked by up charging (20% increase) for time slots that will likely and typically get booked such as Friday and Saturdays after work or mornings. This helps minimize my slow days and lessen time gaps in between appointments.

Clients who usually encounter these high demands (20% increases) spots are clients who likely book last min, or within a week of the desired appointment and or booking with stylist who are extremely busy.

To AVOID these high demand time slots MY RECOMMENDATION is be proactive and book in advance, or prebook when you are done with your prior service.

So it is not a scam by the stylist or styleseat it is a business building tool for stylist to help them manage their schedules to be a productive as possible during their scheduled wirjed days. And i will reintegrate the Styleseat AI system is a paid service by stylist to help them fill in the gaps of their slower days and times by encouraging clients to book during slower times .

I would strongly encourage Clients to be more organized and plan hair out services in a more intentional schedule as much as possible to avoid this up charge.
