I did KATIE MASTERS with the amazing Banana Nail School with Ciny and I’m thrilled to work with Paola | Structure Gel Specialist | Online Education again! Her MGN program is fantastic for any nail techs who work with gel and want to sharpen their skills or they’re interested in an odorless salon/the options gel brings and need to start with the basics!
I was so taken aback that I misspoke- it was 5 SECONDS. Clearly even I was unaware of what was about to happen lol because now I have to go home and take this off because I’m back in uniform bright and early tomorrow morning. I went to the nail store and I was playing with a few colors and walked to my car – this video was after my failed attempt to take it off.

Lord,
As I prepare to go to bed this is my prayer tonight. God, I’m praying for alignment.
Not just people to fill chairs, or booths. Not for people who just “do nails/hair/makeup/therapy.” I’m praying for people who understand that what they do is bigger than the service itself. I’m praying to be surrounded by people who know that what they’re doing is a calling from you. People who know that safe pedicure services can be the first line of defense and alert clients to issues long before their next trip to the doctor. People who compassionately style hair and restore confidence in people who may struggle with alopecia, Trichotillomania or who may be cancer survivors! People who know that You are the ultimate healer and recognize that therapy is a tool to support your heavenly work in the natural. I pray for people who recognize that beauty and wellness work can create safety, dignity, connection, and change in ways we may never fully see.
I’m praying for people who know they are walking in their calling and want to do that work in an environment that is supportive, uplifting, collaborative, and rooted in purpose.
Send the people who are meant to grow here. Send the ones who want community without competition. Send the ones who celebrate other people’s wins.
Send the ones who care deeply about the people they serve.
Send the ones who want their gifts to make an impact, not just an income. Most of all please give me the wisdom to recognize them.
I am committing my actions to the Lord as it says in Proverbs 16:3 and sharing the vision because Habakuk 2:2 said I must make it plain! Ephesians 3:20 said that He can do infinitely more than I can ask or think! So I’m placing this prayer out for all to see, so if this is you, or you know someone that this aligns with- let’s do this thing together!!!
Sitting and doing nails art is actually kind of calming…. Today was fall themed - the other day was Galaxy vibes and I forgot to take photos of those so you’re getting them together haha. What would you like to see more of? Drop ideas and requests in the comments or feel free to DM!
Today I spent some time playing with different nail art mediums- 3D Gel, blooming gel and some hand painted art!
For the DIYers out there- I took a video of part of it. Please notice the avoidance of contact dermatitis by using gloves for forming the petals with the solid gel. 🙏🏽
My girl Ariel Smith is keeping me on my toes!!! My books will be back open the third week of October! I’d love to see you in my chair!
