Happy Earth Day!

Today is a very special day for us at Hudson Beauty Collective. Earth Day is central to our salon’s mission and our daily way of life.

We are committed to taking care of both our clients and the environment. One of the ways we uphold this commitment is through our participation in the Green Circle Salon program, which recycles nearly all of our salon waste. So far this year, we have diverted 275.5 lbs of waste to be converted into sustainable plastics, bicycle parts, and even car parts.

Thank you for being part of our journey toward a more sustainable future.

We are the Hudson Beauty Collective, located at 5114 Darrow Rd. in Hudson, OH.

Our team consists of independent business owners who operate collaboratively within a shared salon environment. We are committed to wellness and prioritize the care of our guests, our team, and the environment. As part of this mission, we use eco-friendly products and recycle nearly all waste produced during our appointments.

There is ALWAYS a project to be done around the salon. After the harsh winter with all of our shoveling and salting our steps and porch finally got a fresh coat of paint. Next up....the ramp!

One of our main ways that we give back to the community and the planet is to recycle our salon waste. The beauty industry is known for creating a good deal of waste that gets disposed of in both landfills and waterways. At The Hudson Beauty Collective we are doing our part to help keep as much waste out of landfills/waterways as possible.

So far this year we have diverted a total of 279 lbs. of waste!

Here is our salon breakdown-
Hair: 20.5 lbs
Hair Color: 30.0 lbs
Metal: 86.5 lbs
Plastic: 47.5 lbs
Paper: 24.0 lbs
Single Use: 42.5 lbs

As of last week (June 13) we have been officially opened for 2 years!

Thank you to all of our clients for your love and support. We would not be where we are today with out you. It has been such a fun adventure and we are looking forward to see what we continue to grow into.
