Again, my business is called Avsikt Bodywork. Sounds like…I’ve seeked. Like my wonderful Mother said, ”I’ve seeked and I’ve found, Avsikt Bodywork.”

It’s a Swedish noun translated as purpose/intent/goal. I integrate modalities as needed for every session; a bit of Swedish makes the cut every time. Swedish techniques are so incredibly relaxing and effective at turing OFF the fight or flight response and helping the body relax.

Avsikt is a Swedish noun for an intent or purpose. I chose this name for two reasons. First, as a nod to Swedish Massage which I do believe to be very beneficial. Second, intent and purpose are what made this all happen. I am intent on providing for my family in a way that helps fulfill my sense of purpose which is rooted in making others feel at ease.

I appreciate all of you who have already been to my cozy little space. You can say you were there from the very beginning. I hope to evolve into another space soon. Much Love!
