June 1 marks 1 year of being a salon owner! To God be the glory! 🙌✝️

One year ago today, God opened the door for me to become a salon owner. What a journey it has been! From navigating a flood to having a large cabinet nearly take me out fell on my head, my husband showed up the next day to reinforce all the cabinets there have definitely been challenges along the way—but through it all, God has remained faithful, and I keep showing up for Him every day.

This past year has grown me in ways I never expected, both as a business owner and as a believer. I’ve learned to trust God more deeply, lean on His guidance, and watch Him provide every step of the way.

I am especially grateful for Sandy, who welcomed me in and helped shape me into the hairstylist I am today. Over the two and a half years I worked alongside her, she taught me so much, encouraged me, and inspired me in countless ways. I will always be thankful for her mentorship and friendship.

Looking back, it’s incredible to see God’s hand in every part of this journey. The blessings, the lessons, the challenges, and the victories have all served a purpose. I wouldn’t change a thing.

Thank you, Lord, for a year of growth, provision, and faithfulness. Here’s to whatever You have planned next! ❤️
