I am incredibly honored to announce that Hive Beauty Collective has been selected as the 2026 Hair Care & Skincare Business Category winner of the $10,000 Amber Grant from Women’sNet!
What began as a desire to help women feel beautiful has grown into a much bigger mission: creating personalized hair-loss solutions for women experiencing alopecia, medical hair loss, hormonal changes, treatment-related damage, and other forms of thinning.
This grant will help me continue expanding that mission through custom hair-replacement services, professional education, and the development of my own extension and hair-replacement line.
I am so grateful to every client who has trusted me with her story, every person who has encouraged this dream, and every woman who has allowed me to be part of her journey. Your courage and trust are the reason I continue pushing forward.
Most of all, I’m thankful to God for opening doors that I could never have opened on my own. This is such an incredible honor, and I cannot wait to show you what comes next for Hive Beauty Collective.

Sometimes a business finds its direction because one customer needs something you don’t yet offer.
That’s what happened to Blair Whitt, founder of Hive Beauty Collective in Humboldt, Tennessee. A client came to Blair looking for help for her hair loss. Blair found a solution for her, and in the process, discovered a need that would change the direction of her business.
As the hair replacement services grow, Blair is taking steps to moving forward to become a comprehensive hair loss resource and eventually expand the capacity of her current salon.
Blair didn’t set out to build the business she has today by adding this specific service. She recognized this opportunity along the way and was willing to run with it.
Scarring alopecia can cause permanent hair loss, but it does not have to determine how you feel when you look in the mirror. This custom hair replacement solution was designed around her unique pattern of hair loss, giving her comfortable coverage and a result that feels natural, secure, and completely personal to her.
Every woman’s hair loss journey is different. That is why every solution begins with a private consultation and is created specifically for the person wearing it.

5 years… right after Covid, my husband and I did the scariest thing we’ve ever done and bought a building. That building became Hive Beauty Collective.
I had worked by myself in a suite for 5️⃣ years and I knew that God was calling me to build something bigger than just me.
Amanda did my nails at that time and I told her there was no way she wasn’t coming with me. 😂 I wasn’t accepting it. I had no idea what I was doing. I just knew that  I had a vision and I thought she would love it. I’m just glad she trusted me.
Reflecting back over the last 5 years, I realize that we have been blessed by just as many people that we have been a blessing to. It’s been a dream come true, that I never thought was possible.
Both of our businesses have grown astronomically under this roof. I can’t wait to see what the next 5 years will bring. 🤍
