🚨 NEW SERVICE ALERT🚨

Several of my clients have been informed already but it's getting down to crunch time so I need to announce how my pedicures are changing.

Starting in the next few weeks I will be offering waterless pedicures. This is a newer technique with pedicures that is much safer and more beneficial to the client overall. We are all used to the usual of soaking in water and such but over time in the nail industry we've discovered water does more harm than good.

I have been doing a good amount of research in order to ensure this would be the right move. It will still be relaxing and comfortable. While it's not a traditional spa pedicure, you will still receive everything you usually would with that service, but the benefits and outcome over time are so much better than with water. Also, as of now prices will not change.

What to know about Dry pedis:

More Hygienic: while we stay clean around here, eliminating water from this service reduces the risk of waterborne bacterial/fungal infections. Perfect for diabetics and those with sensitive skin.

Toenail health: we don't really think about it but our nails absorb water which can affect them over time. It can make your polish wear away faster, make them chip and crack from contracting while they dry after being filed and such. Keeping them dry in their natural state keeps them in better condition.

More effective callus removal: you can see much more dead/callused skin when it's dry! Excessively scrubbing overly softened skin leads to more problems than we think. Over time we can control the dryness, cracking, and overall callus removal much easier without water.

Cuticle health: water expands the skin, because of this we have a harder time seeing the part of the cuticle that actually needs to be removed without taking touch and causing damage. Working on them dry preserves their protective barrier and keeps them just the way we need them.

I apologize if anyone feels that they won't be as satisfied with their service with this change, but I can say with 100% confidence that this is being done for the safety and overall well being of my clients and their nails. Your feet will be in much better condition with these new changes and I am always striving to give my clients the best I can offer.

I know, I know. It's been a MINUTE. I promise I still work my normal hours, but life happens. I'm gonna do better I promise! With that said, my schedule has opened up some!
