LASER TATTOO REMOVAL⚡️

While here at the studio waiting for my next client I figured I’d post something, for example a tattoo removal progress since I haven’t posted in a million years and already forgot how it’s done here on social media😅

We just had 4th session on this tattoo and I made a collage, so we can see the difference. It’s easy to forget the starting point, so even I myself was pleasantly surprised at the fading so far. Keep on going!🫡

LIP TATTOO REMOVAL

If I don’t post about it - doesn’t mean I don’t do it😉

This client wanted to remove her lip tattoo for a few reasons.
First of all she never wanted a “lipstick effect”. She requested a natural look “your lips, but better”. But the artist implanted so much ink that it clearly resulted in over saturation.
Also the color was not what she wanted (too fake pink).
But the main problem here is over lining or tattooing over the border of natural lips. Check out how much more above her top lip the artist placed the ink.
The first rule in lip tattooing is to never go over the lip contour!‼️

I do have multiple clients in the process of lip tattoo removal.
It takes time. Between sessions we do have to wait minimum 6 weeks when it comes to permanent makeup (longer for removal of traditional tattoos).
And it often just doesn’t make sense for me to post “in between” or “meanwhile” results, but this time I decided to do it anyway😁

So considering the amount of sessions needed (multiple in most cases) and time between these sessions - it can take a while before we’re done. If we talk about traditional tattoo removal (body tattoos) - it’s literally years. Yep, that’s an unfortunate reality. But a better (quicker, yet safer) way is not invented yet, only surgical incision🤷🏻‍♀️

Therefore the only thing I can say is - remember, any kind of permanent makeup or tattooing IS in fact permanent - for life!

So think carefully what and where you want to get done and even more carefully choose your provider!
And if you’ve made a mistake - I’m here to help you solve it!🫡

Two weeks ago it was my 13th year anniversary of living in US!🤗

Left pic is 21 year old me working at Kohr Bros. ice cream in Wildwood, NJ.
I loved that job! It was fun (and unlimited ice cream😂)
My hair was blonde, my skin was tan😁

13 years later my hair is dark, which is actually closer to my natural hair color, well minus the red😁
And I’m avoiding sun! Not just cause of my tattoos (I clearly got a bunch since then😂), but because I know better now how damaging UV rays are for your skin.

I hope everyone is enjoying their summer so far, being smart about sun exposure and remembering to apply sunscreen!☀️

It’s important for everyone, but especially for tattooed folks who want to keep their tattoos vibrant (and avoid triggering allergic reaction cause sun can have that effect on pigment in your skin).
Or if you’re getting it removed with laser, keep in mind - you want to avoid getting that area too tan to get the best out of your treatment and to minimise the risks of hyperpigmentation!😎

MICROBLADING REMOVAL😤

Many reasons why I hate microblading, but more than anything I hate removing it.

Cause that cosmetic tattoo technique besides scarring the skin, messing up skin structure and texture - also implants the ink super unevenly. Therefore the removal process will reveal the areas that had more ink implanted and less ink implanted. Patchy implantation - same patchy removal🤷🏻‍♀️

Besides that microblading tends to be done way too deep, therefore pigment appears having bluish shades (one of my clients called it a “jail tattoo”😁)

But we’re getting there! 👊🏻
This client had great results already after 2 laser sessions. We just did the 3rd one and will now wait a couple of months to let the skin do the job (cause we know it’s your skin and immune system that removes the pigment, not laser) and see if we’ll need another session.

Removal of red pigment from eyebrows‼️

Yes, of course not all red pigment is the same. But it shouldn’t be a worry of a client, but rather something that a removal specialist should be educated on and experienced in how to distinguish one pigment from another.

I’ve seen so much ridiculousness about how this particular pigment (this is iron oxide or otherwise known as mineral pigment) is “not removable with laser”, it’s a “skin stain”, bla bla bla…🤡

Well, read the rebus😂👇🏻
🐂💩

We removed the pigment from this client’s eyebrows with laser only. There’s just a tiny bit left on these after pics, which we did one more laser session on. Otherwise everything that’s left is scarring from s**tty microblading technique in which her permanent makeup was performed.

If you’ve been following me for a while - you know my thoughts on microblading. If not - check my Insta Highlights called “Educational” and… well, get educated😁

Influx of blue eyebrows lately😅

This client got lucky to get a major fading after just one laser session.
“After” pictures are taken 8 weeks after the removal procedure.

Everything aligned here for her - chemical composition of the ink, amount of time it’s been in the skin, how well her skin performed (we remember it’s the skin that is removing the pigment, not the laser).

We did one more session to encourage the fading of the remaining pigment. And this can be called a “case closed” situation😎

Hey, not everyone would be so lucky☝🏻
Keep your expectations realistic! Tattoo removal is generally a process of multiple sessions.

And no, not me, not anyone else would know how many sessions YOU will need.
My philosophy is underpromise and overdeliver!🤌🏻

Maybe the lack of good sleep in these past few months gives me the dark circles that take half of my face😅

But my eyes still have that spark✨ And mainly cause of you guys!🙂🫶🏻

I love my job so much and I’m so happy that I can make an impact in someone’s life!❤️‍🔥

I get messages all the time from people who have had a bad experience with permanent makeup and/or removal of it. Their stories bring tears to my eyes. They share how it effected their confidence, that their self esteem took a complete nosedive, that they have to spend so much time and effort hiding their eyebrows with a ton of makeup on a daily basis and that even their close friends don’t know about their struggle cause they’re so ashamed and they blame themselves for a stupid decision😔

I truly wish and hope the artists in cosmetic tattoo industry and specialists in removal industry get their s**t together at some point and stop ruining not only people’s faces, but their life too!😒

For now, I’ll just try to take it case by case and day by day, if I can improve someone’s life at least a little, when they can feel better looking in the mirror - it’s already a win for me!🙏🏻

Tattooed freckles have been a trend in cosmetic tattooing as of lately.
My opinion on tattooed freckles?
Three words.
JUST. FU***NG. DON’T. 😐
But you do you🤷🏻‍♀️

It’s been a while I’ve posted my cosmetic tattoo work😁
Yep, I still do it! Although permanent makeup removal appointments are definitely taking most of my schedule now.

But this client just has such beautiful eyes, so I wanted to share our eyeliner procedure🖤

Removal of permanent makeup is not the same as removal of traditional tattoos.
Pigments for permanent makeup can go through adverse color changes after laser removal.
My whole philosophy is not only to make the removal process safe and effective, but also try to, if not avoid, minimise the unflattering shades during the process.
Sometimes it’s impossible to do it for 100%, but I promise you that I will lead you to the end result where you will be satisfied with an outcome.

If I’m being completely honest I really just wanted to post these pictures from my recent photoshoot I had right before my 34th Birthday in January😁

But since I did get some new followers lately, let’s make this an introductory post or a “get to know your specialist better”😉

My name is Sasha, full name is Alexandra (yeah, that’s how it is in Russia where I’m from).
I came to US almost 13 years ago, being 21 years old with $200 in my pocket and a job offer as a housekeeper at a hotel down the Jersey Shore.

It was quite the fun considering at my homeland I just finished the 4th year of university studying law and was planning to dedicate my life to being a prosecutor, investigator or a forensic specialist😎

Long story short, after a few years of s**tty jobs I decided to go into the beauty industry. I was rather interested in special effects makeup, but since I was living in Pennsylvania at that time and not anywhere on the west coast where I could study just that, my choice fell on going to a beauty school that had me obtaining an esthetician license.

Jumping a few years again, after working as a beauty advisor at Ulta (beauty and makeup store), a brow waxing and shaping specialist at Benefit counter in the said store, and also a Lancome brand consultant there through the years, I’ve said adios to retail and started a career in permanent makeup (or cosmetic tattooing).

My first work place was at an Integrity tattoo shop where I spent 1.5 years of fun time working alongside the most cool tattoo artists from who I learned a lot about the tattoo industry etiquette.

Then it was time to move on to something of my own and I started to rent a small studio by myself where I was seeing clients for permanent makeup procedures (brows, eyeliner, lips).

At some point I started noticing that I was getting a lot of requests for cover up work. When in fact the things people wanted to cover up were unsalvageable.

There we’ll jump some more in time and you’ll find me at another, bigger studio after a rebranding and offering both cosmetic tattooing and laser and chemical solution tattoo removal.

While I offer a service of traditional tattoo removal, I do specialize on removal of permanent makeup such as eyebrows, lips, freckles, whatever the hell some s**tty artists decided to be artsy with on poor people’s faces.

I love my job, love helping people and feel very passionate about the industry in general.

On my Instagram and Facebook posts and stories you will find definitely enough of educational content, some of my personal life like what I eat and my travels, that many of my followers like to see and comment on in my DM’s all the time, and a good dose of humor, often a quite specific one😁

I’m an honest, straightforward and open person, so I do not pretend and I do like to attract people who are the same whether they are my friends or clients.
