While you are supporting and helping someone who may be in crisis, it is especially important for you to also take care of yourself. Practicing self-care does not mean you are choosing yourself over your loved one. It means that you are simply being mindful of your own needs, so you are better able to support the people you care about. When you take care of yourself and are not stressed, you are better able to meet the needs of others.

I have now been attuned & successfully completed the training required for the third degree Reiki level in the Usui method of natural healing and has earned the title of Reiki Master Teacher 💫

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, teachers, have remained acutely focused on supporting their students and continuing to do their jobs at this time. In some cases, this may mean teaching and continuing to work through the same challenges that anyone else is. While resources related to mental health have been (rightfully) front and center for supporting students, parents, and others, less focus has been paid on maintaining the mental health of the educators who are also trying to find balance in our new way of living & remote teaching. The Spinalis ⚡⚡
The spinalis is the portion of the erector spinae, a bundle of muscles and tendons, located nearest to the spine. The spinalis is the body's most medial, or closest to the midline of the body, deep back muscle and originates at the spinous processes (bony projections at the back of each vertebra) of the lower spinal vertebrae. It inserts there, as well as at the skull's base.

Letting go is the inner action that removes the fear, upset, and tunnel vision. The moment you let go, you restore your ability to see clearly. You become creative and able to discover solutions that you could never have seen before.
Fear is a state of mind and is created by resisting a future event. To have any fear lose its power, do the opposite of what creates it. Instead of resisting the future event, be willing for the fear to come true – not in your actions, but in your heart ❤ In your actions, do everything you can to make sure it doesn’t happen, but in your heart, be willing.
You have to trust. Trust that you will be okay no matter what happens. Even if your greatest fears come true, know that you will be fine. When you know that you will be okay no matter what happens, letting go becomes relatively easy.

As the body crumbles, the soul awakens. This is why dying people always tell the living to follow your dreams. Don’t wait for sickness or death. Do it while there is still time. But now, here is the mystery. There is no path because everything is the path; and inside of that everything, there are two important distinctions: our master path and our secondary path. The master path is our inner path, our path of meaning. The secondary path is our outer path, where we put that meaning into action out in the world. The master path is about being and the secondary path is about doing 🙏 ⚡

The unawakened mind tends to make war against the way things are. To follow a path with heart, we must understand the whole process of making war within ourselves and without, how it begins and how it ends. War’s roots are in ignorance. Without understanding we can easily become frightened by life’s fleeting changes, the inevitable losses, disappointments, the insecurity of our aging and death. Misunderstanding leads us to fight against life, running from pain or grasping at security and pleasures that by their nature can never be satisfying.
