They say being around people you love releases happy hormones like dopamine and oxytocin, bringing peace to your heart. When I saw the headline of that article, it really struck a chord with me.

That is exactly how I feel every time when my Ohana group meets, looking out at the ocean, sharing our lives, and praying for one another. Day after day, these layers of "happy hormones" build up, making me truly cherish the connection and the time God has gifted us together. 🙏🙏

Also so grateful for all my other wonderful friends; being around them boosts my happy hormones in the exact same way.✌️

A huge thank you to my friend for introducing me to American Mahjong! I had no idea it was such a whole different market. Looking at the designs of all the accessories, the gameplay, and the relaxed, fun vibe of everyone coming together really blew my mind and completely flipped my traditional views on Mahjong.

Between the beautifully set up home and Mahjong table, the delicious food, the warmth among friends, and the patient coaching by the table, it was the perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

Thank you, Natasha, for the invite! When you texted me, "I know not your favorite but join if you can!" I'm so glad I said yes.

Happy 6th Birthday to Jasmine! 🎉 Thanks Sabrina and Jeremy for having us at Juju’s BFF party last Saturday. We had an amazing afternoon! So sorry I didn’t get any photos or videos during the party, I was just too busy enjoying the moment! But at least I caught one photo before we left home to remember the day.

We are so happy to be your neighbors. Thank you for always letting our kids play at your house. Not just ours, but the other neighborhood kids too! Your open hearts and generosity are truly a blessing to everyone. Thank you so so much!🫶

This is what I tell myself every single day. I used to feel like I still had plenty of time, that I was still young, and that I could just plan out my future and my day step by step. But as I get older and see more of the world, I’ve realized everything can change in the blink of an eye.

You'd think that with better technology, staying in touch would be easier. But it’s actually the opposite. Because it's so easy, we stop trying, we get stuck, and when we look back, we're no longer moving toward the future we imagined.

Happiness isn’t about having more, it’s about being content with what you have, cherishing good relationships, and truly living in the moment.

這一陣子所思考的就在禮拜天的教會聽到了。
活在當下，讓每一刻有價值。
這一直是我每天提醒自己的話語，總是覺得自己還有很多時間，還年輕，可以好好規劃未來，計劃當下。但隨著年紀漸長，看過的人事物、聽到的故事漸多，才發現可以一眨眼，一切就都改變。以為科技進步，聯絡變得容易，但相反好像因為變得容易，反而不積極而停滯，再回首，已經不是朝著自己所想像的往前走。
幸福不是擁有的更多，而是滿足所擁有的，珍惜每一份好的關係，活在當下。

Being able to make a lei from my own garden and give it to her brings me so much joy.

The birthday party was originally supposed to be at the beach, but because of storm Lala, her parents had to move it to their house last minute. Even though the weather was pretty unstable during the party, it didn't stop everyone from celebrating and just enjoying being together in the moment.

Thank you to the K**a for putting everything together, the food, the activities, and all the birthday highlights became so meaningful because we were all gathered there.

祝福的Lei 可以從自家出產、製作再送出著實讓人滿足。
原本會辦在海邊的生日派對因為Lala 颱風的來訪，不得已讓壽星的父母轉移陣地到自家，雖然派對中的天氣不穩定，但依然沒有影響大家一同慶祝，一起享受當下的同在。
謝謝K**a Ohana為所有人準備的一切，有美食、活動，所有的慶生環節都因為大家相聚在一起而變的有意義，並沒有因為更改場地而影響。

Huge thanks to Ashley for inviting us to Keala’s 1st birthday party! The view of beautiful Waikiki beach right outside the restaurant was stunning. Inside, there was a great buffet setup, Ono food, live music, face painting, and balloon animals, the vibe was so fun and lively!

It was also so wonderful catching up with familiar faces and meeting guests who traveled from afar to celebrate this special milestone together.

Watching the sweet family gather around, everyone singing happy birthday, and blowing out the candles truly touched my heart.
Growing up surrounded by so much parental love is the greatest blessing for a child.

Every birthday party I go to has its own unique way of celebrating, but the one thing that never changes is the unconditional love and dedication parents have for their kids.

謝謝 Ashley 的邀請，讓我們全家能一起參加 Keala 1 歲的生日派對！從餐廳往外望去就是美麗的 Waikiki 海岸，店內準備了豐富的自助式圓桌餐點，現場還有歌手演唱、兒童臉部彩繪和造型氣球，氣氛非常熱鬧。

在現場也見到了許多熟識的朋友和遠道而來的賓客，大家一起慶祝這特別的時刻。當我看著他們一家人被生日快樂歌圍繞、一起吹熄蛋糕上的蠟燭時，心裡真的很感動。孩子能在父母的愛里健康長大，真的是一件無比幸福的事。

每一次參加不同的生日派對，都能體驗到不一樣的慶祝方式，但唯一不變的，永遠是感受到父母對孩子滿滿的愛與付出。

Watching this video brings me right back to mid-July when I was invited to a 3rd birthday party. It really made me look back on the days when we used to take classes and do activities together at the farm school.
Time flies so fast. They‘ve moved away, and the school is no longer at the farm, but those beautiful memories will always stay with me.

This invitation gave me the perfect chance to catch up with them and other families to celebrate together. I even got to sit in the backyard, enjoy the sunset, and capture these beautiful moments.
