You read your food labels… but do you read your skincare labels? šŸ‘€

One reason I started paying closer attention was the HERMOSA Study.

Researchers had teenage girls switch to personal-care products selected to avoid certain phthalates, parabens, triclosan and oxybenzone (BP-3).

After only 3 days, researchers measured significant decreases in several urinary chemical metabolites.

That doesn’t mean the study proved these products cause—or that switching products prevents—disease.

It DOES remind us that the products we choose can influence our everyday exposures.

And here’s something many consumers don’t realize:

šŸ‡ŖšŸ‡ŗ European and šŸ‡ŗšŸ‡ø U.S. cosmetic regulations are not identical.

My takeaway isn’t fear.

It’s awareness.

You don’t have to overhaul your bathroom overnight.

Just start doing one thing:

šŸ”„ FLIP THE BOTTLE.

Read. Learn. Replace intentionally.

Because once you know what you’re buying, you get to decide what belongs in your routine.

SAVE this before your next beauty haul.
And send it to someone who needs to start flipping bottles.

LET’S BE HONEST… AGE ISN’T YOUR PROBLEM.

I’ll be 67 next week, and I’m not interested in chasing younger.

I’m interested in building a body and brain that allow me to keep living fully.

Because longevity isn’t simply about adding years to your life.

It’s about adding strength, energy, independence, clarity, connection and LIFE to those years.

And so much of healthy aging comes back to what we consistently do: move our bodies, preserve muscle, nourish ourselves well, prioritize sleep, manage stress and support our cellular health.

You can’t control the number on the birthday cake.

But you can influence how you show up for the years ahead.

Here’s to aging powerfully. šŸ«’

Save this for the next time someone tells you getting older means slowing down.

5 everyday magnesium drainers:

1ļøāƒ£ Chronic stress
2ļøāƒ£ A highly processed diet
3ļøāƒ£ Regular alcohol intake
4ļøāƒ£ Heavy sweating—from workouts, heat or saunas
5ļøāƒ£ Certain medications

Here’s the bigger picture I want you to remember:

Healthy aging isn’t about ONE supplement or ONE miracle ingredient.

It’s about giving your cells the tools they need to function—and protecting them along the way.

🌿 Magnesium helps your cells perform.
šŸ«’ Olive polyphenols help support your cells against oxidative stress.

Add nutrient-dense foods, movement, hydration, restorative sleep and a lower-tox lifestyle, and now we’re talking about cellular vitality.

Because I’m not interested in simply adding more YEARS to my life.

I want to add more LIFE to my years. šŸŒæšŸ«’

SAVE this post as a reminder—and send it to someone who’s always tired, stressed or wondering if they’re getting enough magnesium

🧠 If I asked you to name ONE mineral that’s crucial for your brain AND your body…what would you guess?

Most people immediately think of vitamins.

But this mineral is involved in hundreds of processes throughout your body—from normal nerve and muscle function to energy production, bone health and more.

And your brain needs it too.

The answer? MAGNESIUM.

The good news: some of the best sources are sitting right in the grocery store. 🌱

šŸŽƒ And pumpkin seeds might surprise you.

Save this one—because Part 2 is all about why magnesium can be difficult to assess and what may contribute to not getting enough.
