When I first moved to Florida from California I had a THE WORSET time finding a hairstylist. 🤦🏻‍♀️​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​I always had the luxury of having a colleague I trusted to do my hair.

Now it was my turn to experience what being a client was really like.

IT WAS TERRIFYING. 😭

My first haircut she cut 5 INCHES off my long hair (that I had been grow out for 3 years ) when I asked for 1 inch. 😢

She wasn’t so nice either.

Most of the top rated salon’s portfolio work was mortifying ☠️

Chunky, unrefined highlights and choppy basic cuts 😳

I felt like the salon world in Soflo was stuck in the early 90s. And it made sense considering the older demographic. 🤔

So I searched high and low for a modern hairstylist.

I had hairstylist ghosted me via IG. 🤷🏻‍♀️

The other hairstylists I want to go to based on the quality of their work weren’t accepting new clients.

I went to an aveda salon thinking I’d get 5 star treatment (I used to work for aveda) but they were so rude. 🙄

So I did my own hair. Color. Cut. Everything.

And I’m so glad I did!

Even though all that really sucked. It gave me such a fresh perspective on what it’s like to be a client in search of a new hairstylist. 🙌🏻

Especially when you’ve moved from another part of country!

It’s my intention to give you the best experience possible with hair you fall in love with. 💁🏼‍♀️

“I want my natrual color but better”. My answer? LESS IS MORE 🙌🏻✨ ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​I did a free hand balayage highlight painting technique because she didn’t want a huge commitment, maintenance, or change.

I added rich ribbons of hot chocolate highlights throughout hair to give just enough pop and enhance her hair.

This is an easy upkeep that only needs glossing in between appointments to keep it glossy and not brassy.

Her balayage was created with extensions only! ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​I did a gloss to help create a shiny and seamless clean between her hair and her extensions.

No highlights needed!

Extensions may be an option to create a beautiful dimension color without exposing it he hair to bleach.

For fragile fine this is the perfect option!
