INSTAGRAM BIO ESSENTIALS FOR BEAUTY PROFESSIONALS/LASH ARTISTS/BROW ARTISTS 👇🏻

1) Make it clear what services you provide, what products you sell, and how you can help solve problems. We all book appointments to solve a personal problem so show your potential clients how you can help. If followers can’t tell what you or your business is about by looking at your bio, they’ll get bored/be confused and leave your page.

2) Your location should be clear in your bio. It can be your exact address or your city and state but you must have at least your city in your bio. If clients don’t know where you provide these services how will they know if you’d be a potential service provider for them. Clients shouldn’t have to research to find where your business is at.

3) How to book an appointment with you. If you have an online scheduler then let them know where to find this (Example: Book using the link in my bio) or if you manually book appointments let them know to email you. You can even include whether or not you’re accepting new clients or what month you’re booking for.

4) Include the best method for contacting you. If you prefer email because you don’t check your DM then let them know in the bio or if you have a business Instagram, put it in the contact section. If you only do calls, put your phone number in there.

IMPORTANT TIP: You want to answer the most FAQ in your bio immediately and you want to make all of the important information clear and concise. A good way to check if you have an effective IG bio is to show a kid who knows nothing about what you do and if that kid can’t describe what you do, where you’re located or how to get in contact with you, you have to improve your bio section.

TIPS ON HOW TO GAIN CLIENTELE & FOLLOWERS 👯‍♀️⬇️

1) Figure out exactly who your audience is and define them.

If you only offer services and you want to grow clientele, your audience will be clients who would book a beauty service. There think of them when you are writing your caption. You may want to educate your clients about the service and put yourself in position of authority. And if you do not offer training or if your target audience is not other beauty professionals, you would not want to post educational tip for other beauty artists (such as needle length for PMU, lash maps for extensions, etc). This content is speaking directly to other artists and this can confuse your audience (clients) and lead to lower engagement. This won’t help grow a clientele that will book services.

2) YOU HAVE TO POST CONSISTENTLY. No exceptions. By posting on a consistent basis, you are letting your current and potential followers know they can count on you to keep producing the content that originally attracted them. Posting consistently will also help push your content to new people.

3) Provide value to other people, especially your target audience. Content that offers value will attract more people and get you more engagement (likes, comments, shares & saves). Everyone follows someone for value in some way. An example of this is posting what your audience wants and solving problems. If your audience is tired of drawing in their brows, show how your service can help solve that problem.
