Happy Monday! What did you guys do over the weekend? If you caught my stories then you know I went to King Esthetics for my very first session! 🤩So excited to share with you guys, because it really does wonders for your skin!
Microneedling is also know as Collagen Induction Therapy where a tool is used to create microscopic punctures in the skin to induce collagen production. Much like a dermaroller does, but deeper and under the care of a trained professional who assesses your skin and determines the depth and amount of sessions you will need. .
Microneedling helps with a variety of skin issues like softening fine lines and wrinkles, lessening hyperpigmentation, acne scars, enlarged pores, and allows products you apply to your skin to pe*****te deeply and get to work faster and more effectively. Each session you do can have results that lasts for weeks and compound with each other for longer term results.
I agree is does look a bit 😱 —but it’s not as bad as it looks! There will be areas where it can hurt, but I managed just fine. Vanessa took extras steps to make sure I got the best results such as dermaplaning my face, then doing some microdermabrasion to get that dead skin layer off, and then microneedling. Each area that she treated was covered in a hydrating hyaluronic acid gel serum to immediately seep into the skin. At the end of the treatment she placed a gel sheet mask with additional nutrients in it to kickstart the healing process further. .
I left my hour or so long appointment a bit red but not uncomfortable. Over the hours you could see the redness go down and by the following day I was able to take my daughter out for ice cream without feeling that I looked weird.
I still need to go back for a couple more sessions to really amplify the results (it’s recommended to have it done 3-5 times for noticeable results), but in the meantime I’ll be using their awesome Hyaluronic Acid serum and Vitamin C toner in my skincare routine. I look forward to these treatments every 3 weeks. My skin has gotten so much clearer & the scars almost all gone. I went to tulum this past weekend and went around with 0 makeup most of the time.
