I just fired my plumber. He tried to tell me that burying bare copper pipe directly in the dirt is 'standard practice.' I’m not an expert, but even I know that the acidity in the soil eats copper! He demanded $4,000 for this 'work' and said I’m being a 'Karen' for wanting it sleeved or wrapped. I refused to pay and now he’s threatening to sue ME. Who is in the wrong here?!
