Cancer treatment is so much more than the appointments and the scans.

It's your body shifting in ways you never imagined, changing faster than your mind can keep up.

It's the exhaustion that sits deep in your bones untouched by sleep or rest.

It's trying to be strong for everyone else while quietly wondering how much more you can carry.

It's forcing yourself to eat even when food tastes wrong or your stomach turns at the thought.

It's crying in the car on the way to treatment, because vou don't think you handle one more session.

It's missing the version of your life where routines made sense and your body felt like home.

It's waking up nauseous before your feet even hit the floor.

It's guilt...guilt for being tired, for slowing down, for not feeling "brave enough,"' even though surviving takes a bravery most people will never understand.

It's searching symptoms at 3am because you're scared, confused, or still waiting for a message that hasn't been answered.

It's needing support desperately, but not always knowing how to reach for it.

It's trying to hold yourself together so your family can believe everything will be okay.

And it's grieving and rebuilding at the same time, learning how to be a person again in a body and life that cancer forever changed.
