Pelvic Pressure System
The concept of organ mobility and stability is key to understanding dysfunctions of the pelvic floor. The organs are meant to move, expand and empty. Should they not be able to expand fully because of fibrotic attachments, endometrial adhesions, tissue changes or scarring from surgery, the symptoms to name but few. Should the organs not be stabilized in their proper positions because of weakened or torn muscles and ligaments, problems such as prolapse, perineal pressure, pelvic heaviness, constipation and urinary retention may present. Thus, it is fine balance of mobility and stability of the structures that maintains pelvic health.

Upper-crossed syndrome is a biomechanical overload. The structure of the rib cage allows very little torso flexion, as this motion would compress the rib cage. There is a proposed tightness and subsequent strength in the neck extensors and anterior upper thoracic muscles. The "crossed" comes from a hypothetical line being drawn between the tight/short muscles and between the overlengthened/week muscles.
This is discribed in more details in Massage & Bodywork, Managin Upper Back Pain november/december 2020, pg 86.

In the Thorax book under applied anatomy by Jean-Pierre Barral pg.44 it states that the Thoracic duct is the major vessel receives lymphatic fluid from parts of the body below the diaphragm as well as the left side of the body above the diaphragm. The presence of this collecting canal may have major abdominal, disorders, particularly malignancies, can produce enlarged lymph nodes.
Right lymphatic duct receives lymphatic fluid from the upper right quadrant of the body, including the right arm, right side of the head and chest, and part of the convex surface of the liver. Is usually due to pathologies of the thoracic region or, much less commonly, the abdominal region.

The greater omentum has several functions. With a tendency to migrate to areas of inflammation and adhere itself to the areas in an attempt to encapsulate the area. Over time this can create chronic pulls that alter the distensibility of the omental tissues. This can cause vertical pulls all the way up to the diaphragm and, from this structure, radiate out and up throughout the thorax. In addition, posterior compressions can be created and alter vascular as well as lymphatic flows perpetuated. Through manipulation elasticity and distensibility can often be restored.
The greater omentum is the "police officer" of the abdomen. It plays a protective role and integrates to absorb shock; it provides warmth and protection to the abdomen. The greater omentum also has a large number of lymph nodes and plays an important role in the immune system. In addition, it is highly vascular.
