If you’re using minoxidil and thinking about going lighter… listen up.

Minoxidil can react during the lightening process and turn the hair NEON yellow — and I don’t mean a cute buttery blonde… I mean highlighter, can’t-tone-it-out, what-is-happening kind of yellow 😅

Like… the kind of yellow that makes toner sit there and go “I’m gonna clock out actually.” 🙃

What’s happening:
Minoxidil can create buildup or interfere with the lightener, so instead of lifting clean, the hair grabs onto this intense, almost glowing yellow tone that is stubborn.

What this means:
• Your blonde may not lift as expected
• Toning alone might not fix it
• It can take multiple sessions to get where you want

What to do:
✨ ALWAYS tell your stylist if you’re using minoxidil
✨ Skip applying it right before your appointment
✨ Trust the process — we may need to go slower to keep your hair healthy
